Bleach on Blu-ray is totally worth it!
I am a fan of this series and am excited to see it on Blu-ray because it is awesome. Streaming doesn't work so well in the country where I reside because the WiFi sucks, so I get the various series I like on disc just so I don't have to wait five hours to watch a thirty minute episode. Bleach is one of those mainstream anime series that I was told to avoid, but of course I decided to read it, and then watch it because I don't listen to anyone when it comes to anime. A person can like the mainstream and still like obscure. Bleach is one that I recommend for anyone who likes some action along with seeing fun characters fight fallen people in monster form.I did notice that many people complained that this series didn't make the episodes fit the widescreen television sets. I am the opposite. I prefer it the way it was originally made. My biggest issue with One Piece is they did adjust it to make it fit the screen and it cuts off part of the original work, much like when a theatre movie was formatted to fit the screen. I say leave it alone. So I am happy with how Bleach was turned hi-def and preserved how it originally aired.Any fan of Bleach, who hasn't already spent a year's pay on the regular DVDs should get the discs! They are awesome!

Bleach a show I didn't think i'd like
that's right one of the most popular shows in anima history from the moment it aired in america i did not see what the big woop was all about. Even though i'm a fan of horror fiction, fantsey, and sci-fi. i just thought when i first saw the comericals for the show that is, " oh great another slash and dash cartoon with no real story line behind it. However as usual i was proven wrong and i was brought up to never judge a book by it's cover too, LOL. Ever since i got to see the entire 1st season called, " The Subsitute," I am pround to say i'm hooked and thanks to amazon on demand i just finished the 2 season of the show know as, " the entry," Now all i have to do is to save up enough money to get the third season as well as the rest as well of course but trust if any of you all in the internet world have a taste for ghosties and monsters, not to mention heart felt friendships that can outlast some bizzar happenings in their world. Then this is the show for you and in case none of you have guessed this yet this my very first reveiw on any subject so please be gental with me if anyone even reads these things that is. Also forgive my typing errors due to a life long hadicap i'm bedridden and sometimes my hands go much slower than my my mind and alot of mistakes insue. thanks again and remember just because my typing sucks Bleach is still a really GREAT SHOW!!! Enjoy everyone and again thanks. Bleach 1

Price is to Expensive.
I would of gave this a 5 out of 5, but it deserve a 4 out of 5 because the price just keeping it from being a 5 out of 5. It's in HD alright, however all the episodes that comes in this Boxset is not worth $39.99. Only if this Boxset had the full Soul Society and all in HD than it's worth this price. All I'm saying is wait for a price drop for this or wait for it to go on sell. It stops where Ichigo & Rukia Big Brother about to fight. Which is really disappointing, but whatever. That's all I have to say for this. I already have this Boxset to.

Missing Case Cover
Love the show. But no cover for the case sucks when your collecting a whole series.

Catch it on sale and it’s a great value
Amazon has sales on digital anime for $5 frequently. Catch it on sale and it’s well worth the money! This is a great series up until the 4th season. If you haven’t watched it, give it a watch. :)

Excellent set
This set 2 contains the continuation of the Rescue Rukia/Assault on Soul Society arc, with some good battles and drama. Ichigo vs Kenpachi is one of the highlights. All of the human invaders have their spotlight. At some $2.50 an episode, this set is a good, compact value. The video is noticeably better than the dvds, but the blurays still use the original 4:3 aspect ratio, so nothing is cut from the frames Unlike most of Funimation's and Section 23's releases, these blurays allow you to have English subtitles with the English audio - essential for people who are hearing impaired, like me..

Everything you want for a Blu Ray edition
VIZ always makes their releases as perfect as they can be. The remaster process is perfect and original 4:3 aspect ratios are kept, THANK YOU! VIZ NEEDS TO TEACH FUNIMATION HOW TO DO THIS!You also get about 28 episodes per release. $1.90 per episode (@ $55 for this) VS FuniMation which usually puts 15 episodes in one release (DB Super and Hellsing Ultimate to name a couple) coming up to $15 per episode. (Hellsing Ultimate and Full Metal Alchemist had Blu Rays with 2 episodes on it at one point)Hurry and get this release for Bleach. It's done very well and a great value.I hope VIZ gets the rights to more series. They do these Blu Rays properly

you'll continue to enjoy Bleach in set 2 in great quality
Bleach continues with Set 2! If you bought Set 1, you'll continue to enjoy Bleach in set 2 in great quality! As mentioned on Set 1 before, the Blurays are much better than the DVD quality!

good show bad copies
Great show but the blu ray is still in 4x3 video and 2.0 audio so for the price you might as well go for dvd then it's just 10$ a season instead of $40 or $50
