Does this removes polygel ?

Im not sure about polygel but it did remove builder and polish for me.

Can anyone confirm what the consistency should be as mine is very thick , like wallpaper paste and not what i was expecting?

Yep, wallpaper paste is exactly what it's like. For best results, lightly rub an emery board over the nails before applying the remover, leave it for a minute or so then wipe off with a damp cloth eg kitchen roll or a jaycloth. I usually have to reapply to the cuticle areas but that's probably just me! It's a really good product and doesn't smell or dry out the nails like normal nail polish remover does.
