Q: After install, the top of the base still spins around even though the button is pushed in as far as it goes. Am i missing something?

I also have the same problem, even after tightened it. The phone still keep spinning around. Eventually the base still not going to hold. That’s why I gave up using it.

Smooth walls can, but not concrete walls.

Yes the mount can fit your Toyota. As long as the surface you are mounting the holder on is clean. It sticks to almost anything. The arm has 3 joints which you can adjust any angle to suit your purpose. The holder itself you can turn it 360 degrees .

It didn’t work out for the purpose. It couldn’t stick to both the dashboard and my car wind shield. I’ve not used it since then
