good abacus
They said this abacus was well made and I agree. The beads slide easily on the rods making it easy to use. There is ample space on the rods so you can easily see if the beads are up or down. Usually an abacus will have an extra bead on the top and bottom and this one does not, which I like. Love the small size because it's easy to keep on my desk to use.

Cute and small wooden soroban abacus
Item is asoroban abacus around the size of a deck of poker style playing cards.Hand manipulation of beads possible, but confined. Designed for smaller, less clumsy hands than mine.Rods were slick allowing beads to move out of position when abacus is bumped.I don't recommend this for an adult beginner, just too frustrating to learn handling on this item.Instruction booklet was very useful.
