Very good product. The sound is clear and the tunings are easy.

Not better that its predecessor, Pro Tac 2.
Great headset, but it does not surpass the Pro Tac 2 or Tactical Pro. I was disapponted to see there was no 3.5mm cord. I have a very short one. I have listened to some audio with these and its pretty good, so they are pretty fair for headphones. But as far as ambient listening, they need to improve alot. The protac 2 and tac. pro have a longer range , these do not. Also the ear cushions feel a bit awkward on my big head so I went with the HY80 gels and they are way better. I still like the fact, that the condensation because of my head heat has not done anything to these earmuffs. I just pop out the gels, the sherpa fleece or sheepskin ( more comfort for me) and the foam and let the sweat evaporate and good as new. So I'm giving a 4 star review for now, and if the seller responds and sends me a 3.5mm cord I wouldn't mind possibly go to 5 stars. They are worth it, but need to tweak the ambient listening.4/7/23Never got the cord, and they still are pretty lousy on ambient hearing.

Good, but they could be better
Coupled these with a light earplug and they seem to provide the best combination of situational awareness and hearing protection. While the Howard Leight Impact Pro’s have higher noise reduction, they also suffer from electronic noise feedback—3m dosn’t seem to have that problem. I say they’re good because they are the best I used so far and I need them for work. I also think 3m could do more to increase the noise reduction and use higher quality audio parts. The price might go up, but I’d be more than willing to pay it.
