Fits my Skymax 180P perfectly, threads are fine. No complaints.

don't buy if you have a weighty camera that you want to be secure.
Gives about 1/2 turn when threaded onto the back of the scope but barely catches the threads on the back of a Celestron SCT reducer.

Bad 2" SCT thread.
Bought this to attach to the Celestron f6.3 focal reducer. The 2" SCT thread was so loose as soon as I got to the stop it detached itself completely. When you consider this could be holding thousands of pounds worth of gear it is just not worth the risk...Lesson learned !!
