Hyperkin RetroN 1 HD Gaming Console for NES (White)

Absolutely fantastic very good quality for the price. cartridges are fairly easy to install in the system . System seems to be built fairly well. Comes with one controller and all cables necessary for installation on hdmi or analog . Controller really does have a 10ft cord as advertised and has all the features of the original NES controller including the inverted shape buttons I am really pleased with this purchase. I played games last night that haven't seen light since 1990 and they worked perfectly I feel just like a kid again thank you.

Everything works like it’s suppose to, except getting the cartridge inside of the docking pins feel like a chore. Like there is a possibility of breaking something.

It’s ok if your on a budget and want to test your nes games. Other then that I would avoid. Controller sucks. Grip of death on the board. Colors are off. It’s a nes-on-chip so it’s not rom dumping so that’s a plus.

Listing says controller has a 10 foot cable, box says controller has a 10 foot cable. Controller cable is four foot long. Cannot use my chair isnt that close to the tv. I have spine damage and cannot get up to sit closer. Not recommended due to the blatant false advertising on both the listing and the box.

I own few consoles. This is one of my favourite options for playing NES. Great design and built quality.

I love Hyperkin and the retron line but this console is far inferior to the Retron 1AV in terms of accuracy.It does have a pal switch and HDMI output. The colors do seem pretty nice with the HDMI. Wish it had component that would make this console a killer.
