This tape is wider than the usual gauze tape, requiring less to cover the gauze. It’s easy to apply and it tears, so no scissors are required. It’s also easy to remove. I use scissors to cut through because it’s faster.

love this gentle tape…..have an injured foot and this tape doesn’t irritate my skin

I thought the "gentle" description would be appropriate for sensitive skin, but when I read the back of the wrapper, it says "medium hold." I am a disappointed in the description of "gentle." I need the tape to secure a pad on the bottom of my foot and because I have extremely sensitive skin it can be damaged easily by tape that tugs and pulls. The tape tears easily, but after trying it on my skin, I find it to be difficult to get off--more so than the "other" brand I have been using that does say for "sensitive" skin. I will give it another try, but I believe "medium" hold is an incorrect word for "gentle" in this case.

I do infusions 3 x week and use a lot of this tape. Love that it is safe for me since I have a latex allergy.

I use this one inch paper tape for securing the edges of small gauze wound dressings, such as the edges of 2x2s. It isn’t waterproof and doesn’t stick well to damp skin or dressings, but it is gentle and adheres very well to dry skin and gauze. If it is too adherent, moistening it makes it easier to remove.This is economically priced and I’m pleased to be able to get this quickly from Amazon when I need it. There are many different types of dressings and supplies, and it’s important to have the right supplies for the right dressings when needed.

Sadly this “gentle” tape stuck too well. After changing my bandage only twice my skin tore as the tape was removed. I do not have thin skin. I’ve used a variety of tapes over the years, and yes skin can tear after multiple bandage changes, it happens, the skin just gets worn down. But I’ve never had it happen on the second change. The tape was really really stuck after just four hours on my skin. I slowly removed the first piece, when that gave me trouble I tried soaking the second piece. It didn’t work. I definitely don’t recommend using this product if you DO have thin skin. And I would think twice about getting this if you’re going to have to change the dressing multiple times.Worse, I had bought two different widths of this tape. When I went to return the unopened one I learned that it is not returnable. If you look at the return policy on the side bar it says it IS return or replaceable. But when you actually click on it the message pops up that says you can’t return it. No, I do not usually click on it when I see you can return it. I guess I will have to do that from now on since it is misleading to say the least.Lesson learned.

Easy to use and holds well. Easy to remove as well.
