Overpriced
I bought this for my husband to use as his old bag needed to retire. The bag is durable and well made but there is truly nothing special about this duffle and doesn’t justify the price tag. In the customer question section it was stated that this bag could easily hold two gi’s. Well, here’s the technicality with that, it can hold two gi’s as long as you have nothing else in the main compartment of the bag, the waterproof part is no larger than a standard duffle for less than half the price and cannot hold more than 1 gi and rash guard at a time. My husband doesn’t carry a lot of gear in his bags, but the description for this particular duffle is over the top. You can easily find something cheaper with the same function and space in stores or here on amazon. My advice is go with something else and don’t waste your money on this product.

Excellent bag for Jiu Jitsu!
This bag exceeded my expectations, in that it is roomy and has special features (a section for “wet” or dirty Jiu Jitsu Gis) on one end and a zip up side that has a mesh pocket for holding anything, like my phone or flip flops (in a bag). I used the front zip pocket along the front side (with mesh pocket) for my wallet, keys, first aid pouch, lip balm, comb, etc. It was easy to access and better than previous bags in which items would fall to the bottom and become hard to retrieve since the pockets were too deep or nonexistent. The center area of the bag is very roomy, and it was easily able to hold two or more! Gis, a towel, spats & rash guard. I usually brought one Gi, but I could fit much more. The style is very cool and subtle (I own the black duffle), which I love. Best of all, it is strong but super lightweight. I also own the black Gold BJJ backpack, which I always loved and did not think that I could switch, since I was not sure if this bag would be too big or heavy. I still love the backpack as it is lightweight and perfect for a Gi, but I used this bag much more and really appreciated its roominess. Since it was so lightweight, it was easy to carry over one shoulder. Often, it was lightly packed so it was even better and it didn’t look too big. I highly recommend both this bag and the backpack. After using other brands’ bag, I will not switch from either of these! Some bags are enormous and heavy and they look like one is going on a backcountry trek. This bag is also easy to wash, as well. Very cool and very practical! I have been using Gold BJJ Submission Soap for years (and will not stop!), and I decided to try their other products. Excellent customer service, as well.

Big bag for a big price tag. Free gift!!!
I wanted something I could fit all my gear in and was hesitant on getting this or the backpack...I knew my gear would grow so I decided on this one. It seems pretty legit. It has alot of pockets. You can definitely tell this was designed and made by bjj practioners. The tag had a free gift link which is a plus. The price is a bit much.. if you don't have the extra money, just go to a sports store and get one. I think you pay for the convenience of all the pockets designed for your belt, tape, etc. I like the bag. It has alot of room for 2 gis and plenty of other stuff.

Nice Bag, but needs to be larger
I am 6'5, 230 pounds, so I wear an A4 or A5 depending on the brand, usually an A4 for less material. That being said, this bag is made for someone who wears an A1. I could not even fit one top and my pants (Vanguard brand) into this bag. It needs to be remade larger. Maybe somewhere in the 50 liter area. This way it will work for any size individual. The bag itself is an awesome idea and would probably work well if it were a bit larger. If you wear a smaller size, then this bag could work for you for sure.

Used for about 6 months, happy with purchase
So I've used this bag for about 6 months in jiu jitsu training. Overall the biggest selling point of this bag is the space and organization. The bag totes that it will fit pretty much 2 sets of training equipment (2 rashguard, 2 pairs or shorts, 2 gis, a few small other items.) I think this claim is accurate if you wear an A1 or A2 but if you get into A4 or A5, only one set of training equipment will comfortably fit in the bag.The organization in the bag is awesome. They have a separate pouch for your gi and equipment when it's dirty. It's kept the nasty dirty gi smell out of my bag so far, something that's been a struggle with previous bags. There are extra pouches all over but they don't take away any space from the bag.Overall, I recommend this bag if you want something more specific to the needs of jiu jitsu training, but as a normal gym bag, I don't think the value is there. The price is high because it feels like a specialized solution to a niche problem.

not what I expected in the dry bag area.
this bag is nice and large, plenty of room. I got it for my boyfriend, he does Juijitsu, and leave class wringing sweat out of his clothes. The water proof pocket is not like wet bag type pocket. it can still stink up the rest of your clothes and can let whatever funk is in your bag all over the items in the dry area.

Very nice gym bag for jiujitsu!!
Just received my Gold BJJ gym bag and already started to pack my training gear in it. It has a lot of room to store all of my things such as my GI (there is plently of room for 2 GIs to fit), rashguards, spats and the separate front pocket for my mouthguard, KT tape and any other miscellaneous items I need to store. I am really excited for the fact that there is a separate storeage area for my sweaty gym clothes because it has always been a problem trying to keep those clothes separate from clean clothes. And if anyone has ever done jiujitsu - you know you get super sweaty lol. It is sturdy and I like the color of the duffle bag, very sleek and professional looking.

Top quality bag with a ton of room for your gear
This is a solid bag. It has a ton of room to hold all you BJJ gear, and then some. The zippers feel great, and the bag's material is solid as well. I feel like this bag will be there for many years as I continue on my BJJ journey. Don't let the price turn you off because with this bag, you truly get what you pay for. If this is your first duffle bag for your BJJ gear, it will most likely be your last because it's of the utmost quality.

almost perfect.
This bag is absolutely perfect. It’s logical for my use, have heaps of room and truly is made for us BJJ folk. Haven’t been rained upon properly yet (strangely enough) so not sure how dry everything will stay but hoping it is water repellent enough, at least for a good while. One negative comment. The shoulder strap! My lord it squeaks like a MOFO. And I often have to walk a fair distance so it just gets on my nerves. Ended up taking it off and using a strap from another bag with metal hooks instead. For this to be perfect, consider changing how the straps are made.
