This is a great book on the World Heritage Sites of Japan. The layout is very good, starting with a map of all the sites.Each site is well described, with excellent photographs and maps/plans. Transport information is also given.A nice addition is information on possible future World Heritage Sites.

せっかく有名な神社仏閣を訪ねても、立て札などで掲示されている沿革を読んでもちんぷんかんぷんで、頭に入ってこないこと、ありませんか？　このガイドブックは英語で英語話者向けに書かれているのですが、だからこそ、説明が簡にして要。歴史や伝説、建造様式の蘊蓄、観光客向けの耳寄り情報まで、めちゃめちゃ分かりやすいです。写真も美しく、文章も臨場感たっぷりで、満足度高し。英語の勉強にもなるし、オススメです。

(Se photos).-Colors are wonderful-Makes a great coffee table bookWhat I didn’t like:-It came packed with other items in the same box and was not protected (see photo). Luckily it was handled with care and didn’t suffer any damage, still, I’d recommend to have it wrapped up on bubble plastic to as protection.I’d highly recommend this book, from it’s cover to the inside photos colors which are gorgeous and the information really interesting. It makes a great book to read on a rainy/snowy day along with a cup of coffee/tea :)
