Q: What material is the cooking surface made of and how is that verified? There are so many spelling errors in the marketing materials.

I want to know this too. The info in the box was so badly written, I'm not sure I can trust the information they claim. No PFOAs but how can that be confirmed? I don't wanna risk chemicals in my family's food.

I would think so, its a normal pan. I wouldn't use it if it would have contact with the fire, since it would blacken the bottom of the pan. Also handle is easily detachable to prevent burning the handle.

Q: How to season this pan before first use to keep it non-stick?

Its a non stick pan so no need to season it.
