Most states and communities now require dental offices to have an amalgam recycler attached to the vacuum unit to remove amalgam waste and prevent its discharge into the sewer where it can enter the environment as a source of mercury pollution.  This unit is very easy to self-install, lasts a year, and comes with various attachments to fit most plumbing fittings in the office.  Not only is having one the law, but it is surely worth having it....not only for the environment...but imagine the hassle of failing an inspection and the fine the office would get for non-compliance!!  When you buy a replacement unit, it comes with a pre-paid shipping box to return the used unit for processing.  HASSLE-FREE!!
