## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this sheath have a leather welt down the middle to keep the edge of the axe from touching the metal rivets?**
A: It does not.  However, the rivet themselves compress the leather around them and in doing so keep the axe head from contacting the rivets.  In the future if I notice the leather directly above the rivets starting to wear in a manner that would allow the axe head to actually contact the rivets I figured I could always install some type of liner to prevent contact.

**Q: what size blade will this fit?**
A: It will fit a single bit standard axe. It fits perfectly on an axe I purchased from Home Depot which has a +/- 4-4.5" blade.
