Bought for my 11 yo son first year of band. It’s a great strap, super easy to adjust, very comfortable and very well made, so it should last a long time.

This was an affordable solution for me. I am 5'11" 175 lbs. I use this strap for both alto and tenor (both Yamaha 82z). I find that the strap works perfectly. The padding is nice, but not to bulky. I would describe it as comfortable. It is easily adjustable. Will definitely be buying a 2nd as a backup.

This Protec strap is perfect for my needs. Very comfortable and I can use the same strap for my alto, tenor and Roland AE-20.For reference I replaced a Boston Sax Shop "Newbury Deluxe" strap with this Protec. The Newberry was double the cost of this neck strap, and it wasn't any more comfortable, and the T-Shaped mechanism that you use to adjust the neck strap kept getting caught inside of my shirt when I wore a button-up shirt, or in the short pocket.This Protec strap is made from real leather (you can smell the leather!), adjusts very easily, and as I stated already, seats mine needs perfectly.

This neck strap is made of high quality material and it is honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made. Not only does this neck strap look sexy but it gives you great comfort as well. It gives no strain on my neck when holding my tenor sax and it is so comfortable when playing. Easy to adjust with the slider and it seems to me like the quality could hold up for years. I have seen and used many different types of saxophone neck straps and not one of them has come close to the coolness and comfort that this one gives me. If you are looking for potentially the best saxophone neck strap in the whole market, look no further. I will admit, the strap is a bit on the pricier side when compared to others, but it was extremely worth the price for what I received.

This is an excellent neck strap. I've been having trouble finding a replacement strap for my the one that came with my son's sax. His original strap is starting to show some wear, and I didn't want him to be without one should it eventually decide to give up the ghost. All the other straps I've looked at aren't as comfortable or they clips are plastic or the design uses a plastic swivel, etc. This clip and swivel are metal, the padded neck is definitely leather, and the whole thing is easily adjustable. Very nice design and craftsmanship. I'm glad I bought this size versus the other bigger one, as this proved to be a perfect length for my son and he's even tall for his age.

I bought this for my son, he is 9 and the sax strap that CAME with his saxophone is very uncomfortable and has an open hook, (which in my opinion is not a great idea for a kid). So I searched and searched for a sax strap that was padded, easy to adjust and had a metal swivel hook. You can find all sorts with the padded neck, easy to adjust, but always a plastic swivel hook! So after searching and searching I found this. I could tell by trying it on that it is comfortable, and easy to use. No chance of that hook breaking and denting his horn! Worth it to me.

He has 3 Saxophones: Tenor, Alto & Soprano, and was having tingling in his hands- His requirements: a comfortable leather strap, with soft, flat straps, & a metal hook...willing to compromise on the soft, flat straps & try the round, cord straps w/metal slider- Among the ergonomic, "Less-Stress" sax straps like "Cebulla", "Just Joes (hand made & gel filled) " & "Oleg"...this product is comparable in design and quality but less pricey; the latch is metal with rubberized, plastic coating- He LOVES this Saxophone strap; says it's very comfortable when on the right way...should look like a butterfly; but uncomfortable if it's upside down...used for all 3 Saxophones w/o complaint(s)

An attractive strap, this Pro Tec is made with a comfortable leather yoke and an adjustable set of strings. The yoke could be made bigger, to better spread the load of the sax, and the strings could be more easily adjustable. The metal snap is too clumsy, as well. So why 4 stars? It's vastly better than the usual straps, more comfortable, certainly more fashionable, and it doesn't get tangled.
