I am very happy with this Gaiwan. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I use it for drinking fine green tea. It has a beautiful glaze and is well made.

I was not prepared for how beautiful this item is when it delivered. It's absolutely gorgeous. I've been using it for gongfu tea sessions and it works impeccably. It retains heat quite well and the lid has an excellent fit, making straining very effective. This gaiwan is also a perfect fit for my large hands. I highly recommend this item for new and experienced Chinese tea enthusiasts alike!

I like that it has three parts, it's very pretty and came packaged very well. I bought two, one for my sister and her husband so I like that it's not girly or dainty. Makes a very nice gift for someone interested in 'the art of tea'.

This sturdy Gaiwan is perfect for sipping tea through office hours, phone conversations, or absorbing yourself in a book. It's blue color is multifaceted with different shades and accented with a light brown along the edges. It's none to heavy but still solid enough. It's design feels both at home in contemporary and traditional tea sets.

My first order arrived on 3/10, both the base and the cover cap were broken. I wanted to give another try so asked to send me another one. Unfortunately, when it arrived today, the cup itself was broken. I have to send this package back too! I guess this packing process/method is just not working for Gaiwan. What a pity, really like theses beautiful pieces!

This cup is offered as: "200ml large capacity." It measures around 135 ml when filled with water and poured into a measuring cup. A nice looking disappointment.

Simple, elegant, and in above average condition. The more expensive ones are a little more fitting piece to piece.
