Streets of Fire: A Rock & Roll Fable

This is a good copy. I was not sure if it was going to be a poor quality bootleg or what since so much stuff on Amazon is junk now days. Some great music in that movie. My girls enjoyed the movie and we also ordered the LP.

Album sounds great mint condition

This is the soundtrack for a movie with a fun if slightly cheesy storyline. Fire, Inc. and Dan Hartman make the movie with their music. If you want fun with a tinge of nostalgia, this CD is a must have.

This is one of the best movie soundtracks I've ever heard, The only other two that come close to the music being so good was Flash Dance and Footloose, If you remember the 1980's You will love the music on this CD, The Movie is also on Dvd I would suggest you get both, Diane Lane in her early years, Though it is very clear the songs she sings were lipsyned , The song Sorcerer is included on the soundtrack, It is a Stevie nicks song that was released just a few years ago from her, But you can hear her here singing the background vocals on her song, Also another big hit from the 1980's is the song I can dream about you, It is included on this soundtrack, You won'y go wrong with this purchase!!!

Even though the movie doesn't hold up this soundtrack is still fantastic.

For years I had wanted this album but just recently obtained it though Amazon. It is great to say the least. I agree with others that the two best are "Tonight is What it Means to Be Young", and "Nowhere Fast" both written and produced by Jim Steinman and performed by Steinman's creation "Fire Inc." Tonight is What it Means to Be Young is unbelievable in ever way and may be Steinman's best ever. Nowhere Fast also appears on Meatloaf's 1984 "Bad Attitude", but this version is very different and better. I also like Sorcerer and Never Be You. Great album. I would have liked to have seen more by Steinman, but it is great just as it is.

Incredible 1980s power pop / new wave and Rockabilly. A forgotten but classic film, that has a soundtrack, that got more attention! The Blasters leave the best tunes.

This is one of the best movies ever made, the best part being on a different time stream, a parallel universe and yet everything feels familiar like it was part of our history.And I sure wish Michael Pare would had been castes in a lot more action movies.The Music is Superb.
