Mass Dynamic Square Toilet Seat with Soft Close Top Fix Toilet Seats with One Button Quick Release Cleaning for Better Hygiene, Rectangle Loo Seat with Adjustable Hinges

I remember spending far too long lying uncomfortably on a bathroom floor trying to secure traditional toilet fittings, only to have the seat move again or be misaligned. This system is a total contrast - simple to do and the seat was replaced in 10 minutes. It is also good to know that if I have aligned it badly, it is very easy to take the seat off and adjust. Brilliant. Also will be much easier to clean. Sadly, the first seat supplied was faulty - the release mechanism wouldn't release - but the Amazon return system worked well and the perfect replacement arrived two days later. So I highly recommend both the product and the customer service.

First impressions - It doesn't feel as sturdy as my old toilet seat, it's just normal plastic and feels less hard wearing - The top fitting connectors were so simple to install. A massive upgrade from my old underneath fittings which required me to reach under and around to tighten them - There are 4 underneath pads on the seat and the front 2 sit flat to the toilet rim but the back 2 are slightly raised and don't touch the toilet. This could potentially be a problem in future with the seat cracking with the constant use and pressing down on it * - The soft close fitting are what you'd expect. Silent, but slow. Overall ok, some concerns about the plastic quality and the pads not sitting flat to the seat but first few uses have been fine. It has only been used for just a few hours at the time of writing this review so I may come back and update this in a few months. * I used my old toilet seat pads to help with this by trimming down the old pad and then using some bathroom silicone to glue the old pad to the new to create a thicker pad. The back ones now sit flat to the seat but the front ones are marginally higher. It has taken the pressure off the back hinge which should reduce any potentially cracking but I think I will make the front ones slightly thicker using the old pads too so theyre level. I've added pictures to show the difference.

Got two of these for the price of one in any normal big DIY store plus soft close aswell

I bought 2 of these and they were SO easy to fit. They were packaged very well and look so lovely for the price. Really pleased and so glad I ordered these rather than paying double elsewhere for similar product.

The seat cover is not thermoset plastic, however it serves the function. Value for money

The release button is a nice design feature. Good placement. Seat itself is good quality. It’s plastic and might be a little heavier, but it is sturdy and fitted well. Fixtures included (top fitting only) were reasonable quality and easy to install. Soft close works fine. At about ½ the price of other seats on the market I think this represents excellent value. It’s not a ‘premium’ product but for £20ish it’s better than I was expecting. We’ll see how long it lasts - but initial impressions are positive.

I gave one star because there is no option for no star. It does not deserve one star. As you can see from the photo I uploaded, I have the identical square toilet they advertise and the right size, yet they send a round cornered seat that bears no relation to the advertised product. Very misleading so be very cautious when buying. Had the seat been as advertised and fitted correctly, I would still only give it one star as the quality is very poor. It is incredibly light plastic and I cannot see it lasting the year. I had to fit mine because the original was broken and it was a matter of urgency to have a replacement, so if that's all you need then go for it and then look for a decent quality replacement at your leisure.

Hard to find a square replacement seat, ordered and arrived quickly. Box was damaged and seat is scratched as shiny plastic :( but as the old one had cracked a replacement needed quickly. Relatively easy to fit, needed a pencil to mark position, soap to get the plugs through the holes and screwdriver to tighten. Will see how long it lasts 🤞
