Self install worked great. (water hardness: 30, gallons per week: 1250)
I performed a self install of this system along with a whole house filter. I used Shark-bite brand connectors and PEX tubing to tap into existing copper water pipe. The instructions were adequate and there were no leaks. System has been performing well for over a month, including flushing every 1250 gallons about once a week. Dishwasher works much better and coffee maker was getting clogged before change but works fine now. I have never done plumbing before, but glad I did as now I fully understand and can maintain the system myself due to knowledge obtained through installation.
