Small quantity of a reliable product.
If you don't need a whole tube of Boat Life caulk, this small tune might work for you. It was all I needed for a small repair.

Seals well
After doing it wrong in cooler weather, it would not cure or become paintable. I went back to the beginning and used the cleaner and primer and put it on in HOT weather, 85-90 plus degrees. That worked better but it still took a long time to cure (a couple of months at least.) Even though the BoatLIFE tech support guy was surly and rude, I followed the instructions and it turned out good. The claim that this stuff is sandable and paintable is questionable. Good luck with that. Had to cure it in direct sun on hot days for it to harden enough to paint. I never could sand it. But waterproof it is. (I bought this small tube as backup to the bigger tube, but never had to use this one.)

Has not setup to date.
Applied the product on through hull fixtures of my boat transom three weeks ago. So far the caulk is still the same consistency as it came from the tube.

Best marine caulk
For bedding hardware on a boat there is no better caulk. And just remember... if it don’t ooze, you lose!
