Xena XX6-SS 304 Stainless Steel Motorcycle Disc Lock Alarm

I watched the video they had on how to use the lock.The part about inserting the battery had a lot of steps and what looked like a bit of experience to do it without the lock screaming at you for an extended time. I know, how hard can it be to insert a battery. Just watch the video.Well, the lock arrived and all you have to do is pull a mylar insert to allow the perviously inserted battery to make it's connection.

The Xena was perfect until it fell from a saddlebag, just a 16 inch fall and the whole insides broke and fell all over the ground. I go to evening classes and let's just say, it was embarrassing having an the Alram beep all three hours of class and not to mention it was an annoying ride home. Quickly I attempted to rebuild the the thing with super glue when I got home and that was the only way it stopped ringing, after a full hour of trying to fix it. I still use the lock but it sometimes "alerts" and sometimes it doesn't. But at least the mechanical part of it, such as locking, is still okay. The only reason I am giving this lock 2 stars and not just 1 star, is because the actual lock is beefy and nothing to be reckon with.*I will have to fill out the Xena warranty yet, but I did call from where I bought it from and quickly received an email saying "They can not do anything about it because it was my fault dropping it from a 16 in fall." Their response was typed out like if they were texting me, it was all abbreviated and very unprofessional. Plus I never received a response as to why do I have to suffer for the FAULTY product. I asked for an exchange of refund and no response. Worst customer service ever. Sad thing is I only had the lock for a time frame of 2 1/2 weeks and this happened to me. I would recommend only buy the lock it self to anyone. It's cheaper and you won't be needing to spend the extra $40 for the Alram.

excellent product, excellent seller

Decent immobilizer lock for my crf230l. It's the size of a teenagers fist. I carried it in my backpack for a couple of months, but had to leave it at home when I was recreational riding and had no way to carry it. This cell phone pouch at home depot is the perfect size albeit a tight fit, "Husky HoldAlls Cell Phone Holder with Carabiner", $6.97, and includes a POS flashlight. I drilled out the two rivets to remove the metal belt clip and used zip ties through the sturdy belt loop to attach it to my bike. I bought a reminder cord off of ebay for a few bucks.The alarm module has a slight design defect. If the lock is jarred hard, like while transporting it, the plastic catch will give way and the alarm module will rest on the base plate. While this does not inhibit the lock from use - sliding it over the brake disc will move it back, it makes me wonder if this the cause of some of the reported false alarms during transportation. I fixed this with a piece of tape, and I'm going to think more about a permanent fix. Xena could fix this with a small base plate mod that holds the alarm module in place.

It's a strong lock, and it's built well into the device. But it goes off all the time. Slightest wind picks up and it starts going off. Will probably look elsewhere soon and use it as a standard disc lock.

Ha funzionato per un paio d’anni, poi l’allarme interno si è rotto.Inoltre la serratura non è molto precisa quindi mi è capitato a volte di non riuscire ad aprirlo nel tempo utile prima che suoni l’allarme.Risultato: la gente che ti guarda come se fossi uno scassinatore.Ora lo uso solo come bloccadisco semplice, l’allarme interno l’ho buttato via.Oltre alla durata insoddisfacente della parte elettrica, c’è da dire che il cambio pila è una tragedia:Dopo aver inserito la pila, l’allarme è attivo! Questo significa che per tutto il tempo che ci vuole per incastrarlo all’interno del bloccadisco e chiudere il coperchio, l’allarme al minimo movimento SUONA!Bisogna inserirlo con i tappi alle orecchie e in orari diurni senza vicini di casa...assurdo.A parte questo, sembra robusto e suona al momento giusto. Però suona per poco tempo, avrei gradito una durata maggiore.

Penoso producto, me dejé llevar por las opiniones de los demás y lo pedí. La alarma suena cuando quiere, sin tocar la moto suena, aunque esté desactivada suena, la tengo quitada y la tengo en la casa en un mueble y de repente suena. No recomiendo para nada su compra, nefasta compra he realizado. No volveré a comprar nada de esta marca

primo montaggio un po' complicato. le istruzioni non sono molto comprensibili. bisogna vedere tutorial su youtube. per il resto funziona benissimo ed è semplice da montare sul freno a disco.
