Update: Threads on the propane bottle side failed. Had to order an alternative while on the road…My teturn window had closed, I got the alternative that works fine and tossed this piece of junk.Works great and is brass not aluminum. For overlanding, now my iso butane bottles stay at home...

Works
Works, one needs to work fast when connecting the parts together because it leaks gas until it’s tight. It requires a little more force than I expected to tighten all the parts together, it may be easier over time.

Convert your backpacking stove to propane
I bought a JetBoil several years ago for backpacking trips. It uses butane/propane or isobutane/propane gas in the small lightweight cylinders. But when I'm campiing in the RV, I prefer to use propane. It is much cheaper, and has a higher vapor pressure and heat content than the gas mix. Of course the propane cyliners are too heavy and bulky to pack very far.The gas fitting are very different, and you can't just screw a backpacking stove onto a propane cylinder. But this fitting lets you do that. Screw the fitting on to the stove and then screw it on to the propane cylinder. There is a valve in the fitting, but it would be wise to take it off of the propane cylinder when you are not using it.The propane definitely heats better. On the butane/propane mix, the JetBoil boils a pot of water in about 6 or 7 minutes. With pure propane, it boils in less than 5 minutes. The hotter fuel does not seem to have any adverse effect. I have also used it with my backpacking stove with no problems. When my wife and I are out in our camping trailer, I usually get up first. I can go outside, fire up the JetBoil, and be drinking my first cup of coffee in just a few minutes. So, when I'm backpacking, I'll carry the butane/propane mix, but when I'm in the RV or car camping (or I can trick my son into carrying it) I'll use the propane. It's less expensive and heats better.

Excellent fit and finish brass fitting.
You need a fitting to run your stove or cook top with a 1 lb bottle of LPG, this fitting does the trick! Easy to use simply screw on the stove first then the LPG bottle, now your set to cook. Packed in a clear bag with bubble wrap bag.
