Q: Would this help with lichen planopilaris?

I wish I be of help to you and could answer your question, but i do not know what Planopilaris is. I can say the brush does a very good job on removing the moderate amounts of occasional Psoriasis that show up on mine and my sons scalps while we wash our hair. I only use it when my hair and scalp are thoroughly soaked in the shower as it seams to work best that way. But be advised the brush works best when your hair is short and no longer than 2-3 inches maximum.

I've not had itchy scalp; I use the product as a way of keeping my scalp clean and minimize hair loss. However I have a friend who did have dandruff/itchy scalp and used the product. She said it helped significantly.

That depends... Is your carpet made of human hair and skin? If so then yes.

It is used to massage with shampoo, so I don't know if it can be used on wet hair with dry hair, it is usually used with shampoo for massage.
