Marshalltown Knockdown Texture Stencils (Medium)

I wanted to make all the textures in our house match throughout which I thought would be a very time consuming project. For this project I bought a sponge, spaghetti roller and this medium sized stencil. I used the first two items and considered returning the stencil because I thought it was over priced. After removing an attached bathroom wall mirror, I discovered that the wall behind it was only drywall...not finished at all. So I unwrapped the stencil and gave it a try. IT WAS AMAZING! So easy and the roll on texture matched the other walls. I did not have to use very much drywall mud because it worked so well. I went back and used it on the other walls that I used the sponge and spaghetti roller. On those walls I did have to use a damp cloth to knock down high points that the sponge and roller left behind. I should have just used the stencil in the first place....This stencil is my favorite paint accessory. Now I can repair drywall with ease! FIVE STARS!

Works well for small texturing purposes. The white stencil (Medium i think) has mix of large and smaller patterns.

The template sticks to the wall or ceiling just by troweling a light coat of mud.

Went on great but was too uniform for our walls. It ended up looking like leopard print. We had to sand it off and start over with sponges instead. Great concept though.

Used it to texture a 8'x10' ceiling in an entrance foyer.For this small area, I decided to try this, instead of masking off the walls and floors and setting up my texture sprayer, and all the clean up after. I was surprised how well it works, it took about 45 minutes to texture the ceiling.They should offer a bigger template, I would definitely by it.

I'm a stroke survivor and i did 4 knoc down repairs in 4 hour today perfect knock down ready to sand and paint tomorrow.All need ton kown is how to apply drywall mud to a wall. if you clean thi plastic tool as soon as you are done it should last for years. saved me from calling a perfessional. and they even have avideo. Simple get it its the best.

I tried using this and as soon as you lift it after filling it in it created an ugly mess.
