Pero ver a tu hijo o verte a ti de pronto tocar algo que se conoce al oído, da mucha moral la verdad. Son piezas muy sencillitas adaptadas de clásicos muy conocidos que en muchos casos se han esquematizado mucho, les quitan voces, etc. pero bueno suena a la melodía que conoces. Va en progresión, las primeras son más sencillas y las últimas algo más complicadas. No trae CD pero en YouTube hay personas que las tocan por si quieres ver cómo se toca algo (si no sabes música y no estás seguro). Para que os hagáis idea en casa lo empezamos cuando el chico iba por el segundo libro de Thompson, más o menos por la mitad del libro. Da un saltillo de dificultad pero no es imposible, es una de esas dificultades de avanzar de un salto. Son treinta pequeñas obras, de Haydn, Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, Bizet, Chopin, Brahms... que también sirven para que el estudiante vaya conociendo algunos autores y le vayan sonando al menos. Así como melodías conocidas pues el Can-Can, Peer Gynt, Carmen, El lago de los cisnes... lógicamente una parte muy pequeña, no es toda la obra. Pero que son obras que vimos en el colegio en la asignatura obligatoria, que suenan muchísimo la mayoría de ellas. Se hace más entretenido porque no son simples ejercicios, son melodías y canciones que siempre es agradable tocar. I am getting to know and play a few scales and bars of tunes, which are recognisable. I am having half hour zoom lesson once a week as well. I have my homework each week from the book and it takes that for my arthritic fingers and brain to deliver. I am loving the challenge and along with the 3 starter books I have added his First Classics book.
