Great basic pot
Excellent size and quality for soups, pasta, etc. Very reasonably priced and good product for it's purpose. I have bought several as gifts for family members. Cleans easily. It's not for oven cooking (I think), but great on stovetop.

Monster spaghetti maker
This is a great spaghetti pot. I can cook enough spaghetti for the whole family this thing and it’s easy to clean.

heavy weight, high quality stockpot
I love this pot! I use it frequently for soups, to boil potatoes, and just to boil water with a little bit of eucalyptus oil when my house is super dry.

Great for the money
Only have used it for a couple of times, but so far it has worked well.

Almost Perfect Soup Poy
I bought this pot to use on my new induction cooktop to make soup and stews and chili. It was way less costly than the same brand name one almost just like it on another popular store website. The only issue I have found is that the center bottom of the pot is raised a little. So it causes a problem when I'm browning something by itself in oil or butter. The butter or oil will melts and collects around the outer edges of the bottom of the pot and dries out in the center. So you have to watch what's cooking so as not to burn it. If there's a half inch or more of the liquid or you're making something that you just put a bunch of ingredients in altogether, it shouldn't matter.

Sturdy and resilient
This 8 quart pot is slightly wider and shorter than the Calphalon pot it replaced (the non-stick finish was wearing off, and Calphalon suggests replacing the pots every 5 years or when the finish starts degrading). I love that it has fill marks, in quarts, etched on the inside. It's finish hasn't been marred or left with cloudy marks from acids or long-time cooking of stews. The pot's handles don't seem to get hot quickly, which is nice.
