HOTLIFE Touch Trackpad Keyboard Case for iPad 9th Generation/8th/7th Gen,

I loved this keyboard. Only problem is that after only a few charges, the keyboard stopped charging and now it no longer charges. Update as of 11-19-2021. After writing the original review, the seller contacted me and sent me a replacement keyboard. I have charged the keyboard 3 times now and so far everything works great! I use my iPad 7th generation daily as a laptop and I was lost without having a working keyboard. I was surprised to receive an email from the seller on here and even more surprised that they sent me a replacement one. I figured that I was going to be out the money and I was in the process of looking for another keyboard but thankfully the seller contacted me. I have only charged the keyboard three times now but so far I am an extremely satisfied customer. I wish more businesses stood by their products. Thank you so much for having amazing customer service and for going above and beyond. I love how the keyboard lights up in different colors. The only thing I wish that was different was that I wish that the keyboard would automatically turn off when not in use. I am constantly having to turn the keyboard off when not in use because otherwise it still drains the battery as long as it’s in the on position. Other than that, the keyboard is very well made and there are no complaints. I answered a question to help someone with their case because they were having issues trying to take off the keyboard case. What I do to remove my keyboard to clean my iPad is that I press on the center of the apple on my iPad and push and then I am able to remove it. If you try it any other way, you will break fingernails because it fits very snug to the iPad. This keyboard is also very sturdy. I’ve had keyboards where they want to close on me but this keyboard stays open and doesn’t try to close on me as I type. Very well made and I highly recommend!

I cam back almost three years later to write this review. This is the best keyboard ever. It connects to my iPad in seconds (noted i do turn off the case and forget device every time i connect and it makes it very seamless i highly recommend doing that. ) ANYWAYYYYYY the keyboard is fully functional and wonderful ive never loved a “laptop ive ever used ever in my life it’s fricking awesome. I use my iPad more than my phone now. I currently have the purple one and it still looks just as good as when i got it and it hold my matching pencil my husband gave me. The charge lasts FOREVER i never hardly have to charge this thing and it’s very protective. Im supper clumsy and not a single dent or scratch on the case or my iPad with no screen protector. It is really worth every penny and I think im going to get the pink one with my taxes this year so i can have one always charged and more outfits to match. If you don’t buy this case you must not like nice and practical things because this makes apple worth it to me.

I absolutely LOVE this case! It turns your iPad into a laptop. It’s easy to connect. It comes with a charger and instructions. The light up keys make it easy to type when you don’t want the light on. It’s made out of hard plastic, it fits my iPad perfectly and it protects it the way I expected it too. I love the color of it. The way it was designed makes its use comfortable and efficient!

It lasted 2 yrs 3 months before it unexpectedly wouldn’t hold a charge & was completely unusable. Not terrible life for a cheap electronic product like this, but the bigger issues had with this were problems with the Bluetooth connectivity. I didn’t realize the issues I had were being caused by this keyboard until I got a new different brand. The issues were: - it was draining my iPad battery extremely fast, like within 2-3 hours - it caused the iPad to take 8+ hours to fully recharge - it caused websites to crash/reload so much that it was impossible to use any sites with a lot of pop-up ads - there were latency issues when using the iPad screen to scroll or type into the search bar & this compounded the crash/reload issues. I thought all these things were due to issues with the iPad itself since the keyboard was supposedly asleep when not actually typing on it, therefore it shouldn’t be trying to send signals to the iPad via Bluetooth. I was wrong & it caused me constant unnecessary frustration for way too long. Once I got the new keyboard, all the issues miraculously went away, so they had to be caused by this kyleyboard I’m reviewing. Now I’m glad this thing died & forced me to buy something new. I don’t recommend this & wouldn’t buy it again.

I’m very pleased with this case! It fit my ipad perfect and works wonderful. I haven’t experienced any lagging with the keyboard or the mousepad. I do wish there was an option to turn off just the mousepad and still be able to use the keyboard as the mousepad is a little sensitive especially when not needed. Set up was super easy and the Bluetooth works as it should. After initial set up I just have to turn the keyboard on using the on/off button on the side and it connects automatically. The 360° turn is also huge as I use my ipad for lots of different things. The case isn’t heavy or bulky! I wouldn’t trust the case to protect my ipad if I drop it hard however. The charge also doesn’t seem to last as long as it did when I first got it but it doesn’t take long to charge. Overall I’m very pleased with this case/keyboard combo.

This ended up being exactly what I was looking for. It has made things easier and seems well built.

So I’ve had this product for over a year now, here’s my experience with it: When I first received the iPad keyboard w/mouse, it was great, however, I quickly realized that the mouse was super sensitive. That didn’t bother me too much, I just learned to maneuver it better and used the arrows for scrolling up and down as the mouse will have you zooming in and out and clicking on links you didn’t click on. I was willing to look past this as I really love the swivel of the iPad holder. It’s the main reason I bought this. Later, after about a month, I noticed that the Bluetooth from the keyboard to the iPad would disconnect every couple of weeks. Ok, that’s fine, I understand it needs to be reconnected sometimes. But then it quickly… quickly accelerated into every other day.. to now.. it disconnects EVERY 👏🏽 SINGLE 👏🏽 TIME 👏🏽 I’m using it. Go away for a brief moment to grab a cup of coffee? Disconnects. Look at something else for a moment and come back to it? Disconnects. The screen locks? Disconnects. At first, I was trying to be patient with it because I really did enjoy the product, but this constant disconnecting is so frustrating! It’s to the point now that I don’t even use the keyboard which sucks because I enjoyed the backlight colors. But I can’t stand this constantly.. and I mean CONSTANTLY having to reconnect to Bluetooth. I’m not connected to anything else, nor am I using another device that has preciously connected to my iPad for it to disconnect from my Bluetooth. And even if that were so, Bluetooth can connect to multiple devices… so I don’t understand how it became this. Will not be buying this brand again.

It was extremely used, scratched, and dirty. I couldn’t see anything that clearly states it is used. So disappointed. The price is not the price of a USED keyboard. ALSO, it came without a charger.

I like that it allows you to place the screen at any possible angle. Other than that, it's very heavy and not the best quality.
