This is a beautiful tea pot! I use it everyday to boil water, for tea, and oatmeal in the morning. I turn heat knob between number 2 and 3 setting on gas range, and fill water to less than half. I clean it when completely cool with white vinegar to remove calcium build up. So pleased with it's performance and beautiful design. Since it is glass I am extra careful with it's use. It is worth the extra care, instead of using a toxic metal tea kettle that is painted inside. I feel special using it, so elegant looking. Hopefully it will last for years.

Love the design! This was one of the only products I found that had a top mounted handle and not hot to the touch as I steep my tea on the stovetop. I recommend bending the handle a bit from the top downward to ensure the points that connect to the pot are more secure.

I just got this tea pot and the first thing I need to say is the handle is NOT copper. I know my metals well and this is brass. Copper would make it more expensive, and while this teapot is not cheap Its wrong to mislead people into thinking its copper to justify the price. So far it is boiling ok, although the glass feels thin and fragile. The main thing I dislike is that the handle is loose and falls to the side of the pot so its cant be used on the pot while it is boiling or it risks getting hot and burning the rope wrapping on the handle. So you have to boil it without the handle first, then put it on after which is tricky.

My favorite tea maker.Such a cute easy to use stove top tea maker. Durable and elegant. My friends loved it and now I can see in their homes too.Perfect for a tea lover.

We are in the process of updating the kitchen, and this teapot adds an adorable element. I was nervous about it being glass, but so far - so good! I just don't turn the stove to the highest setting. I'm glad I happened upon this, as a new teapot wasn't even on my radar as far as updating goes!
