Pine Mountain, 3-hour Firelogs, 6-pack Fire Logs Ideal for Campfires or Home Use

I purchased 2 boxes of these logs. The first box was great, the second box none will light. The bag lights great then nothing, I have even tried using a helper to get things moving, but nothing works. I would never buy the Walmart brand again(The box was from Walmart.com) on an Amazon order

3 hour? We've lit 3 of the 6 and the best time was 2 hours & 10 minutes. You're not going to get 3 hours. That isn't the worst part, towards the end they give off a bad chemical smell. I wouldn't use these again for the inside fireplace. The remaining 3 will go to the outside firepit & that will be the last I use of this brand.

We found this here then saw them on sale at a local store and thought we'd try them out.1- they smell like jerky - smell does seem to go away after it's lit but it's pretty intense2 Paper burns well and light easily- just not enough to actually light the log. So... Then what?3 Because of the above we actually have to buy something to light it.4- our opinion: This is not a good value.The other well known brand burns very well without the odor so we're going back to it.

I used Duraflame for years - I stock inside house as opposed to garage so they don't get damp. I can't find the 4 hours ones anymore...at least to be delivered, so switched to Pine Mountain and like these just as well - burn the same and cheaper so they've got a new customer. I had an entire box of Duraflame "crackle" logs that were horrible.

I've always purchased Pine Mountain logs as they always were easier to light than the other brands. This batch was as bad as the other brands. Had to stoke with paper from my recycling bin in order to get them to catch on and burn. Disappointing.
