Bain de Terre Coconut Papaya Ultra Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner, 2 Count

This is the best conditioner I've ever used for my curly hair. Curls come out hydrated and they form better. This conditioner has always been thin, but it works just as well as thicker conditioners (better, actually) and is easier to get out of the bottle. I use this when I straighten my hair too, and overall my hair is shinier and in better condition when I use these products than when I use other shampoo/conditioner combinations. I like the fragrance and I've had other people tell me my hair spells nice. The coconut and papaya are pretty evenly balanced and it doesn't have that heavily perfumed coconut scent some shampoos/conditioners have. It smells more natural. I don't notice the scent lingering with me throughout the day, but apparently other people can detect it if they are close enough to me. I wouldn't trade this for anything and I'm happy to have found it here for a good price.

This is a nice shampoo/conditioner set. It's stuff I use regularly and it was half the price I would have paid in the supply house.

My hair is really fussy, and particular about the hair products I use on it. It's taken me years to find the right shampoo and conditioner to keep it happy. These Bain De Terre Coconut Papaya versions are exactly what it wants, apparently. I actually have one of the other Bain de Terre shampoos, but it's not as well liked. So, I had to order more of these two to keep my hair appeased.

I just finished both bottles. My stylist recommended this as an I expensive alternative for my color treated hair. The consistency is a bit liquify, especially got the conditioner, super runny. It did smell really good but that was the only positive thing. I didn’t notice a substantial difference in my hair before and after I used it. It served its basic purpose and didnt damage my hair but I wouldn’t buy it again.

My hair is fine, but it is also down to my backside. That means the ends are years old. Especially in the winter, it is difficult for me to find something that will moisturize it without making my hair look greasy. This shampoo and conditioner duo does the trick -- excellent softness and hydration without weighing it down. I'm very happy with how it makes my hair look and feel.

I'm not really a fan of this. I'm in need of a haircut and have split ends at the moment. I can tell a huge difference between this and the other stuff I use when combing my hair. It takes so much longer to comb out the tangles when using this. I have long, wavy hair and my hair is kind of frizzy looking after using this product. The smell is okay, it kind of smells like my grandma.

Purchased this product because I have been happy with other Bain De Terre products. Was really looking forward to the coconut scent.. as it turns out it has an overbearing floral scent that stayed with me all day. The scent was so strong it left me with a headache, I will not be keeping this product. Also the shampoo and conditioner did not leave my hair as soft as expected for a hydrating shampoo & conditioner.

I decided to try this after years of using the Passion flower version. I really dislike the smell. It’s okay in terms of the results, but I can’t seem to get past the fake fruity smell of it. Passion flower and the almond oil scents are just so much better. Stick to what you know.
