Perfect combo for the Traxxas Summit
The Summit is an amazing machine, and should provide years of worry free performance if you treat it right. People run into trouble when they stick an overpowered brushless system in it and treat it like an E-Revo. The diffs and two speed transmission don't hold up well.I wanted a brushless system for more efficiency/battery life and because I was sick of the stock ESC draining my batteries so unevenly. This Castle system has been everything I wanted for my truck. Plenty of power, great slow crawling and control, good battery life. It was a bit faster than stock so I turned down the top speed in the Castle link software and now it's perfect. Less power in an RC sounds counterintuitive but I found myself wanting to bash high speed with it all the time and it lost some of the magic that makes a Summit so amazing to drive in the first place.Long story short, if you want a brushless system with maybe a 20% increase over stock speed, get this. If you want to test your luck and blow your drivetrain, get the 2200kV and enjoy it while it lasts :)

Sensored motor not supported by esc in a combo deal
Bought a sensored motor and esc combo..turns out the included momba monster x..does not support a sensored motor..kept 1/2 the purchase price for a restocking fee..for a misleading combo deal.
