Found a piece of Resin inside about 1 inch rectangular shape. Fell out when Battery compartment fell out as it came out of box. Battery compartment will not stay in place so every time you pick up house to turn on lights the battery compartment falls out. Won't be long before electric bulb wire comes out and lights will not work again.Do not like the two what looks like a separate Fireplace stack. Like someone else mentioned, it looks like a separate balcony. Incense cones come with holes smaller then the holders stem. Holder stem will not sit level in lower burner shute, and 3 cones, PLEASE can you afford them?My 1st photo is a comparison with another house I bought last year. It is a Cabin style building. Way better construction and better chimney and cone burner with magnetic cone holder for better security.I would return this item but for lack of time and need I guess I'm stuck with just a house with no chimney and light that may not last 1 season in my Christmas Village. My village grows in size and amounts of buildings and features every year.

The incense burn plate is not level and a burning cone came easily fall out. The cone slides due to imbalance and does not cover the draft opening to flow to the chimney. If you manage to position it properly, the smoke does not ‘rise’ up, it down flows over house appearing as if the smoke emanates from the home. This should not be a back draft, you should be able to insert the cone at the base of the chimney so it rises up with the cone hidden from view. Instead, it appears as if the house has a balcony with a burning incense cone on it, and the lights highlight it. I’m disappointed. I bought this to be an incense burner, not just a cute light up Christmas house. I checked the shipping codes, this was not a re-distributed item. This is a faulty design.

The item looks great and would make a great part of a Christmas Village set or alone on a shelf. I didn't try the lights, but other reviews look like they'd add greatly to the look.However, the thing that sets this item apart should be the reverse flow incense burner that is meant to send the smoke up from the chimney.Unfortunately, the first one I received didn't sit quite right and I found it was due to the hole being totally blocked with hot glue.I exchanged the item and the second one (shown in photos) was totally clear of glue, but didn't sit properly at all. The hole is set at an angle, making the burner base sit at an angle, causing the incense itself to fall off.There is no way to use the incense on the incense burner, which completely defeats the purpose.If you want it for a display piece and get it on sale, it could be what you're looking for, but if you want the incense burner with the smoking chimney, I suggest looking for "Collections Etc Smoking Country Christmas Cabin."

The house is really cute however as others reviewed the incense holder is crooked and does not hold the incense. I believe the same one keeps getting sent to customers as it is returned because I can’t believe that there are that many made crooked. The house is cute but without the smoke it really isn’t worth the money. I also had to glue the bottom back on because it fell right out when I took it out in the box. I will probably return it unless I gets half the money back then it would be ok to just keep the house. I did message the seller but did not receive a reply.

Platform to hold incense is way too unlevel to safely use. Did not light the cone due to this, but I'm certain it would not work as intended had I tested it out. Unfortunately have to return as it's cute otherwise.
