Review: Exactly what it says on the tin - A long time ago, when I was in first grade, my school hosted a secret santa where we could buy gifts for our parents in secret. I stumbled upon the most fascinating red liquid hourglass and bought it for my mom. I haven't ever found that particular hourglass again, but I looked for it on desertcart and I found the next best thing. This small plastic hourglass is adorable and fits right in with my collection of hourglasses. It's fun to watch the little bubbles sink to the bottom and join together into a tiny pool and the hourglass itself is almost exactly one minute long, which makes it fairly functional. Mine came in blue, exactly on time as the seller stated. It's made of somewhat cheap plastic, which is the only flaw in my opinion. I'm a little afraid it might break or start leaking if I take it on a particularly arduous cross-country move without a lot of bubble wrap. Although the seller is a toy company, I'd say this is better suited for adults who won't be tempted to toss it around or accidentally step on it, or a very careful child that really respects their toys.
