I just moved into a converted basement apartment. It was cleanish... But, not my kind of clean. It had both basement smells, and people smells😬So, after a wipe down with a bleach/water solution...it still was not where I wanted it.I read about this light. I was a bit curious. And, DARN if it doesn't work just like they say.I let each room receive two treatments of the light. It eliminates the old, weird smells...and leaves a new, strange odor in there place. But, it goes away very quickly... an hour or two. Apparently, this is the dead bugs, dust, human particles, etc. all cooked down and sterilized. If you want the steriled odor to go away faster...just open a window! Gone in 30 minutes. It's not a bad odor, just strange.The neat thing is...I bought a used four post bed. Again, people smells. It got washed with isopropyl alcohol. It was better, and cleaner...but...After being hit with two treatments in the bedroom...it smelled and felt NEW!So...the new cleaning regime for the apartment includes a once a month treatment with this awesome light.Best Regards,David C.

I first use it in my bathroom, when I get out of bed that be the first place, I went to in my nose, starts running immediately, not now then I placed it on my bed, right on the sheet by the pillows, that night, I had extremely peaceful sleep no nose, problems or phlegm in my throat. Now I’m getting ready to use it in my closet.

Ok folks, I never write reviews. But I'm so frustrated with this product. I bought 2 about a week ago and have been trying to get them to work consistently. I would say that they work about 40% of the time. I tested each one and both of them behave in the same unreliable way. I first tried them in my bathroom. I heard all this beeping going on from the other side of the door. So I decided to set up my phone and take a video of what was going on. Each light I tested reacted the same way. It would light up and then turn off. It would light up again and then turn off again. I have no windows in the bathroom and it was totally quiet. I even tried it in a closet and the same thing happened. I did have some luck in my bedroom. However I am only guessing because I didn't take video. With the lights beeping so much it is hard to tell if they are in their on or off stage because I'm on the other side of the door. Humph. They continue to work sporadically . I'm really disappointed.

The versatility of this sanitizer is great. I like that I can set it for 15, 30 or 60 minutes and have time to get out of the room before it turns on. I bought this because I was getting a few bug bites in my bedroom. It seems like a few no-see-ums got into the room. This light seems to have killed all the little bugs. Next, I am planning on using in the bathroom to kill any mold that may be there due to all the moisture from showers. I haven’t used the remote or sun glasses yet, but see how they could be very useful!

I bought this after the hurricane because of a mold smell. I've used it about 8 hours at this point.I put it in the room, and turn it on with two pushes ( 30 minutes and come back later. The room smells "burned" when I first open the door but after a couple hours that, that odor is gone and the mold smell was gone or way down. I had to pull furniture out and use it multiple times in some rooms.It's also done a number on the black mold in the grout in my shower and some mildew on the shower curtain.It works as advertised. I'm happy with it.

The UV Lamp worked great for the first two weeks and it provided a very fresh environment after using. Unfortunately, it stopped working after a few weeks. The Supplier was nice enough and has promised to send me a replacement UV Lamp.

I purchased my first UV bulb with ozone when the pandemic started. The smell of ozone is really strong, though, and unpleasant, and should not be breathed. I only recommend that kind of bulb if you plan to be away from home while you sanitize the air or your items.This bulb is great because it does not produce ozone, so there is no need to wait for the air to clear. Whoever designed this lamp also understands the benefits and dangers of UV light. The lamp is pretty lightweight which is nice, but you also need to be careful since it is not as stable as a heavier piece would be. It can fall over easily. Mine tipped over when I was first setting it up, and the plastic casing around the bulb prevented it from impacting the floor. This is a great design feature because UV bulbs are expensive. The casing also makes it look somewhat stylish, so the lamp is not an eyesore while not in use. It also comes with a remote which is helpful since it is dangerous to be in the presence of the lamp when it comes on. There is a great delay function that beeps faster and faster to warn you that the bulb is about to illuminate, so you can leave the room. The remote can be used to set 3 different timers—15 minutes, a half hour, or an hour. My remote was not as responsive as I would like. I needed to press the selected timer buttons a few times to get them to activate the lamp. I’m not sure if this is because of the buttons on the remote themselves or how I aimed it toward the device, but it did require multiple tries. If you happen to misplace the remote, it is possible to activate the lamp with the power switch on the device’s base. If you turn it on there, it defaults to the 15-minute timer that beeps repeatedly to let you know it’s about to power on.What’s also really helpful is the motion detector. It shuts the lamp off if it detects movement while the lamp is in use. This is fantastic, especially for people with pets, but you still need to be careful. This function will not necessarily detect movement depending on how the lamp is positioned. If you set the lamp up somewhere high, for example, and your pets are walking low to the ground, it may not detect them right away, meaning they could be exposed to UV light. To be safe, I recommend keeping pets away while the lamp is in use, but the motion detector is a good backup in case a pet or person does wander in while the lamp is on. The sanitizer will reset and cause the timer to start beeping again. As long as you leave the room, it will resume the interrupted cycle. This is a great feature. I really recommend this lamp for anyone considering a UV light. Make sure you remove all plants from the space where you are using it, though. I found this out the hard way. Any plants exposed to UV light will wilt and die within a few days.
