Nice butt spa!
I have never used a bidet. This is great and does what I was looking for. The heated seat is awesome, warm water and warm dryer are great. All functions work perfectly.Self-Install with the dicey instructions was fine, took maybe an hour because I turned the screw on the bottom of the toilet so hard I accidentally turned the inside flush valve (taller thing usually on the left side facing a US toilet) around and temporarily couldn’t flush. User error and I was able to reach in to turn it back to where it was supposed to be. Whoops.Note I am on the bigger-boned side of things (5’8” 196 pounds) and I can use this, but I think this wouldn’t be usable for a larger person. For example my dad is maybe 250-275 pounds and I don’t believe he’d have enough room to sit comfortably and he probably wouldn’t be able to reach the side panel (it is so close to seat I think his leg would fully go over the controls).Possible caveat for the future: it’s a bunch of plastic, and weird little electronics including heating elements jammed into more plastic, that you sit on and move around frequently and throw water in and on. I can’t imagine this is going to last but I’m hoping they’ll surprise me. Both this company and Toto (the two luxury options I considered after reading tons of reviews) have awful and expensive warranty service per other reviewers so I knew I was taking a chance. I think any good bidet seat is buy at your own risk unfortunately. I’ll update if this turns out to be my experience.

need a spacer
like the prior coco bidet we had it needed about a quarter inch wood spacer so the seat can be anchored back far enough. otherwise, the seat sits too far forward and not functional.might depend on the toilet tank but our’s didn’t allow the seat to set back far enough without the spacer i made. it works fine now.

It works as described but uses a lot of power
This is an excellent product. It does what it claims to do. I replaced a mechanical cold water unit with this electronic one and it has so many features on it that there is a learning curve. Without going into detail about WHAT it does, it works as described. And it works well. The one negative thing, and I've seen it mentioned in other reviews here, is that it requires a lot of electrical power. If you plug it in and when you use it your bathroom lights flicker, your circuit can't handle it. That was my worry when I purchased it and it turned out to apply to my electrical system. I found that turning out the bathroom lights and fan alleviated the problem, but that was really a short-term fix. I hired an electrician to install a dedicated grounded wire from my breaker box to my bathroom to handle its power needs (I also had him run a wire at the same time to my son's room, due to his computer and gaming needs, so that took some of the sting out of having it done). So clearly that possible need should be factored in to your purchasing this product. It may be that your system can handle its power needs (my house was built in the 1960s), but you should be aware of the possibility I'm describing. It's a quality product with a multi-year guarantee. I highly recommend it.

Front wash falls short
I called customer service complaining that the front wash stream doesn’t reach front. They said other customers complain about that too. And suggested that the consumer might not understand the proper use of the buttons, body positioning etc. However it’s the bidet’s design that falls short. Why don’t manufacturers just extend the front wash further out- i.e. “extra extended front wash”If so many people complain, even if you move back, etc., follow tips, all they get is a back wash, that’s a design issue!I bought this bidet for an elderly family member for hygiene reasons, and the wash doesn’t reach the front which is the utmost necessary feature, and my hope to help guard against UTIs!Unless you are a petite person don’t buy!
