Slim profile for family dashboard with raspberry pi
Google digital family dashboard/magic mirror/dakboard/mango display etc.I needed a very slim profile HDMI cable for my project as the HDMI slot of the TV I took apart was directly on the back and not on the side of the motherboard. One side of this connection is L shape which was perfect as it slots in and the cable comes out to side(hopefully see that in pic) second pic is completed project total profile of frame is 4cm. Would be alot more with standard HDMI L shape connection.Things to note, the connections and cable come in same package but are not "connected" to each other. Very easy to put together. Small bit to lift on connection put cable in then put bit down(unsure what you would call "bit")With my project and this cable it went like this.This cable. HDMI cable. Micro HDMI adapter to raspberry pi zero 2 w.I wanted to get rid of the HDMI cable and Micro HDMI to make it simpler. So from the same seller you can just buy the connection. So I got the micro HDMI connection and simply changed the other end without having to buy the whole thing again.

It would not assemble.
The media could not be loaded. It simply could not stay attached. I couldn't even rest it down before it would pop out. Let alone trying to yank it into a device.Even then, just to test whether it worked, I pinched both ends to test it and no signal came through regardless. Complete failure.

Slimmest hdmi adaptor I’ve found
3rd product lucky. Functionally works but most impressively is just how slim this is to the hdmi port.Used only for a day but is working great so far

Apparently didn't work
First attempt to order, was sent a dual male connector in error. Second time was correct, but attempting to use this to drive a monitor from a MacBook (which has an HDMI socket hidden where a thunderbolt right-angle cable would run) failed, after re-seating a few tries, including when the spare cable and plug from the male-to-male version was used; the monitor is detected by EDID, but there's no video signal. Maybe insulation would help, but if I had room to insulate it I'd be using a larger adaptor. No idea why they don't ship this assembled and tested - it wouldn't be any bigger. Went in the bin. Maybe the suggested drone camera use is less demanding than 4K video, though I'd have thought the EMF environment would be worse.

Unlike a cable, this item cannot be load bearing and must be either under no strain or supported.But, the connectors are good quality and the ribbon fixings firm.VERY low profile for tight spaces.FAST next day service...

Fits into the smallest gap
Purchased to tidy up my Legends Pinball Machine. I hated the clumsy cables everywhere. This is brilliant and hardly visible.

Doesn't work with 1080p
Used with an Amazon fire stick. Had to set off to 720p to get it to work
