Using this on the front desk POS terminals and receipt printer contacts. I bought it because our card reader started dropping transactions during the lunch rush. I brushed a tiny bit on the chip reader and USB plug, wiped once, and it stopped glitching. Bottle is small but it goes a long way.

I have a few 18650 LED flashlights. A couple I have had for quite a few years. My favorite, kind of a cheapy, has been getting flaky. It has been used a lot over the years. The go to flashlight. Been dropped and beat. Lately it is the tap it against your hand to keep it bright. (We all know that.) On the flashlight forums Deoxit was mentioned and I was skeptical. But I would give it a try. It sat on the garage shelf for a while and I picked up one of my other LED flashlights. It has been dim for a while, I thought it was just going bad. Yesterday was the day. I took it to the bench and completely dissembled it. Switch (clicky) and all. I wiped all the dirty threads down clean (with a paper towel) and took the brush to all the metal contacts. Even hit the battery terminals and all the spring ends. It does not take much. Just a tiny amount. Well the dim light was just as bright as new. Really surprised me. So next was the old go to. Did the complete cleaning and hit every contact surface with the Deoxit. Put it back together and it was back to old reliable. I decided to do a few other flashlights. They all work like new. Was it the cleaning and retightening? Did Deoxit help? Guessing so I tried cleanings before without much luck. OK I did not use a lot. Very little amounts. After all the contact surfaces in 4 flashlights, it is barely down to the top of the label. Heads up the D100 is a small bottle. It is the size of a finger nail polish bottle. Kind of expensive for the little amount you get. But seems to be worth it. Also... D100L-2DB is 7.4 ml the size of a small nail polish bottle. The D100L-2C is 2ml... Not very much... But may be about what I used on the 4 flashlights. You don't need much. I am not sure if I would get a spray can. You would probably spray most any where but where you need it. One thing not sure of. Will it keep the threads from seizing? These aluminum flashlights can gall the aluminum threads and lock them together. Will Deoxit prevent that?? Time will tell. If you have scratchy or intermittent electrical contacts, I would give it a try.

I purchased this to try and repair a small pile of 30 or so battery powered toys and have continued to use it as I find more. I see a lot of reviews upset its not a miracle product after trying it on a single device. I'll say after applying it to every item I had its effectiveness was roughly 70 to 80% of the items I tried it on. Sometimes pieces I was sure it wouldn't work on it actually did bring back to life, and other times items I thought barely needed it still wouldn't work. Its really dependent on how the corrosion happened, what areas it affected, and possibly your item might just have some other unseen issue. Its great for corrosion, tarnished metal, and battery acid buildup. But if the metal prongs themselves are damaged its probably not going to save it. This is a cleaner, not a magical time-rewind potion. The bottle is really small and I've seen some people say they used the whole thing on one item. Honestly after using it over 60 times I still probably have hundreds of uses left so I have no idea how some reviewers are using the whole bottle on a single item unless they're just dumping the whole thing in (which would definitely just destroy it) I'd recommend it if this is something you see yourself using more than once every now and again. Go in with realistic expectations that it could save your item, but consider it a last chance, not a sure thing.

This was a purchase of a larger bottle than I already own. It's a tried and tested product and I don't think there is much better when it comes to taking care of corrosion, etc. Keep up the good work guys!

Very good product, easy to use

Dropped right into my TRX350. Kit comes with hoses and clamps, which is nice. Runs quiet and keeps fuel flowing steady. Good cheap fix.

Used this to avoid having to replace buttons on the circuit board of my Goal Zero Yeti 150 power bank. The buttons had gotten to the point they would only register a press once in like 20 presses. This was recommended to me and it worked flawlessly. I took out the circuit Board and placed a drop of this on the buttons then worked it down into the button. Now I don’t even have to fully depress the button for it to register a push. Hopefully this will stop that issue from ever reoccurring. For the amount you get and how little you have to use I feel this little bottle is an excellent value.

This was mainly bought so I could use as a reference for what I use at work. As long as you properly shut the cap this will last awhile for the average consumer making it worth the price. The first time I had to use this particular product I was a little dismayed by the large brush making it difficult to work into a phone's charging port. However it does it's job I used it on a few cables and other contacts around the house; a flickering bulb in my bathroom gave me an idea of just how great it cleans the contacts. I did sadly have to apply a week later on the bulb which was in my bathroom but it hasn't flickered or had an issue turning on in months. Overall it's a great cleaning product to have on hand even if it's just kept in storage.
