Very attractive artificial plant, full leaves. Durable and easy to spread leaves. Great color.

I was a little bit reluctant to buy this based on a few of the reviews here. But I really wanted a hanging plant in my dining room. I'm good at taking care of plants I can easily water, but I'm lazy about hanging plants. I'm short, and find it inconvenient to grab my stepladder and balance myself up there to water them, etc. So my hanging plants tend to die. I decided to just embrace the fact that I don't really want to care for them, but I do want the look of having them. Therefore, I've decided to buy realistic-looking fake plants for anything inconvenient for me to water. And all of my other plants I can easily reach will remain real.This just arrived today and it's great. I regrets. Well maybe ONE: Before this one, I bought 2 from other companies here on Amazon. Those claimed to be lifelike and they weren't THAT realistic looking. But they weren't that expensive, so whatever. You get what you pay for. However, THIS one looks so good in comparison, that it's now making me really resent the other two that I was just fine with before. Now they stick out like sore thumbs. So I'll be replacing them with Nearly Natural plants soon. lolAnyway, this really worked out for me. I hope it works out for you too.

I was a little leary about purchasing this plant after the reviews, but it was the only artificial spider plant on amazon I could find at the time of ordering. I figured I could return it if needed.First, the basket looks like the photo and has sufficient moss-like covering so that the styrofoam doesn't show through.It needed a lot of adjustment after it arrived to make it look "real," but I don't think it's unmanageable.1. I was setting my on my desk (and not hanging it), so first, I adjusted the main stems to get it to sit up right and not topple over.2. Many of the leaves were straight or bent at odd angles, so I had to reshape and curve them in a more natural direction (I had to do this with almost every leave, which was time consuming, but do-able). I don't know that this plant could successfully be shipped without having to make these adjustments3. There were some leaves that were folded in half lengthwise that needed opening and curving. I had a harder time keeping these open/curved, but there were only 2-3 of these, and after awhile, they, too stayed put.In the end, the plant looks like the photo, and relatively real. I work in a basement with no nearby water source, so real plants aren't really an option.It doesn't look as amazingly impressive as other artificial plants I've ordered (like this one: Golden Dieffenbachia Silk Plantby Nearly Natural), but I'm glad I purchased this and think it looks very nice, and I would recommend purchasing.Good luck!

I can't have a live spider plant because my cats always eat them till they finally die. It gets them high, so they won't leave it alone. I really wanted one for my living room and decided to get a fake one. When it first comes out of the box it's looks kinda rough, but with a little attention it looks really nice. I used a clothing steamer to relax the leaves and make them more pliable so I could bend them how I wanted them, and I put it in a nice ceramic pot I already had. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, and I don't think k it looks fake at all unless you look really close (and who's really gonna do that anyway?). It took me about 30 min to get it to look how I wanted, but it was totally worth it.

"This item is a nice decor piece, but not as bushy as the picture. I just opened it and I was shocked at first, all there is is 4 or 5 pieces stuck in a foam h. basket. This I would NOT recommend purchasing, the bottom is not at big as the picture shows Anyway, it is ok, but overall, not worth the price." I guess you have to shape it so it looks almost like the picture does. It is appealing to look at but a lot of open space around bottom, not compact as picture shows.

Had hoped I'd get what some of the others had gotten...a realistic nice looking plant. There were a few leaves that were so bent the were broken, and two of the hangy-downy parts weren't connected to the plant at all. I had to spend too much time dusting off all the leaves and fluffing it up, only to realize there was no making it look like what I had hoped for.

I don't know why some reviewers said they had to spend (5) hours correcting the leaves on this plant. I took the plant out of the box, and it is already beautiful! What real spider plant is perfect on this planet? I don't think any. This is the closest thing to natural I have ever seen! I just brought down a few leaves and spiderlings, and that is it! Took me 15 minutes! Beautiful fake spider plant. I would buy again! The only thing I hated was that string hanger that came with it. I took it off, and bought a nicer one for $9.00 from Amazon. I have it in a corner, but I am sure it would look fantastic anywhere! Price is right for the full plant that you will get. Take a chance and buy it, you will love it!!!
