Fox 40Sharx Whistle

Bought for swimming on busy river in case we need to alert rowers & boats etc to our presence - it’s knotted to my towfloat/drybag but could just as easily go on cossie shoulder strap. Works immediately from full submersion and really piercing - perfect!

Use this whistle for Junior Water Polo. Needless to say you can't use a whistle with a Pea in a pool envioronment, so went for this. Incredibly loud and a distinctive pitch, so the Kids know that it's me straight away. You can immerse it in water, pick it out and just blow it.Does the job just fine.

When im out walking in the mountains and moors i'm stunned how many fellow walkers i talk to do not carry a whistle such as this! Its tiny in size and could very well make the difference if the worse should happen.As the old saying goes- better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!

Much cheaper than elsewhere, but don't order if you're in a hurry as it took a couple of weeks to arrive (although that was listed in the delivery info). Brilliant whistle for safety/emergency situations as very loud piercing whistle, a few friends have these already for canoeing and as they come in so many colours, we've all got different ones to match/clash with kit.

Expense but effective. Is available in a choice of colours. Sellers where helpful when orginal choice out of stock by making prompt e-mail contact with alternatives.
