I'm going to echo what another reviewer wrote: Very easy to install; use a 3/4 spade bit to drill a hole and pop it right in. Couldn't be easier to install.

Has decent audio quality, I didn't notice a degradation to be honest. Relatively easy to mount (see other reviews for hole size). I wouldn't recommend uninstalling and reinstalling very often though as the retaining mechanism is plastic. But it's solid and if you notch the hole it doesn't rotate. Perfect for my application.

I installed this 3.5mm extension in the glove box of my car in order to have access to the AUX input of my head unit - the AUX input is located on the back of the head unit, so it would normally not be easily accessed without removing the head unit from the dash. However, with this extension mounted in my glove box, whenever I want to connect an outboard audio source to my car's audio system all I have to do now is plug into the extension.

I installed this on a desk so my son could plug/unplug his headphones in easier. It works great for that. This could be screwed/bolted down, but it didn't come with any screws. But not wanting to put holes in the top of his desk, I used some double-stick tape (command strip). It holds pretty well. The cord was just the right length. I'll have to see if the cord pops out of the bracket over time. He does have to hold the bracket when inserting/removing the headphone jack... but that's ok because it means he won't just yank on it. Cord is hefty, good quality, and no sound issues. No reasons to drop any stars, it's exactly what was advertised and works.

I like to keep my desk super clean, with no cables, cords, etc. This little mount made it easy to keep my earbud cord off the desk. I mounted it right at the front lip of my desk, added a 3.5mm cable extension for $5 which plugs into my Macbook, and I'm off and running. It's the little things in life.

I got this so I could have a nice looking aux input next to the USB inputs for my Android Stereo. It was easy to mount and install, I just used a 3.5mm female to RCA male Y cable to adapt it for my stereo. Looks nice and built well.

Good idea but the cable length is far too short to be useful. Also the insert can easily pop out of the mount.

Screwed it to desk for easy access,good quality so no audio interferance.

Overall good but the jack doesn't stay in the bracket and can easily be yanked out when pulling the headphones out. This can easily be fixed with a suitable glue. I used Revell model glue and it's now secured well. Bracket screwed into the bottom of my desk very nicely.
