Why does my remote not open my gate for more than 20 feet away

I had same issue, seems that little tiny antenna that comes with it is too small, I couldn't even get 20 feet. So, I added an extension cable and new antenna that is about 12 inches tall, I built a mounting bracket and added it to the top of the post where the control box is mounted. Now my remote works from inside my house (pointing out the window), which is about 300 feet from the gate. I was told to buy two mm371w for my 2-panel gate. can the two remotes be synced so they work as one?

The gate panel learns the remote. I don’t see why 2 panels won’t learn one remote. Good luck. I am pleased with the new changes upgrades to the system.

On the mm 371 does any one know how far the battery can be located away from the controll box also unit is solar charged.

The wiring harness on the control to the battery is about 2 feet. This would be as far as you could place the battery from the control box. You can purchase a separate solar charger to connect to the gate opener, model FM123.
