I love to bake
I love to bake. I’m mainly a cupcake girl. But I have always loved the look of macarons. They’re so beautiful. The colors alone are tempting. But, I have to be honest. I’ve never tasted one let alone make one. So I was thrilled when I saw this book!Once the title, and subject of a cookbook draws me in, the next thing I look for are photos. There are no photos in this book. That totally bums me out because the photos could have been so colorful, and beautiful. Now, I have the book on Kindle copy. It also sells in paperback, so maybe the print book has photos.Once I got over my lack-of-photo disappointment, I got into the recipes. 99 recipes to be exact. It starts with a basic batter recipe. What follows are macaron combinations that I never expected. Along with your typical flavors like chocolate, you’ll find Salted Pretzel with Chocolate Ganache, Banana and White Chocolate, Violet with Violet and Vanilla Bean Buttercream, Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese, Cracked Pepper, Mint and Strawberry, Lime and Basil, Pear and Elderflower, Lychee, Champagne and Roses, Dandelion, Candy Corn, Ketchup, Cayenne Pepper, Tomato Vanilla and so many more! There are also recipes for many different fillings!MACARON RECIPES: THE ULTIMATE GUIDE, has taken away my fear of baking macarons. And knowing that any flavor combination can be made, will, I’m ready to get the flour flying!

New, Cookbooks for treats and everyday foods for everyone's collection.
I didn't learn how to cook growing up, I always was outside working with my Dad. My head under the hood of a big rig and fetching tools. My brothers hated working with him and I was the only one that loved it. I did learn how to fend for myself with cars and almost anything else. My dad always said that it good to be a girl but that girl needed to know how to be self-sufficient. Well, I definitely am that, thanks to him. Oh, and he always made me wear gloves to that I would still have soft hands WITHOUT grease under the nails!!! LOL That being said I have collected cookbooks so that I can fix anything that I want. I love having the digital ones, they don't take up any space. Also having a small family now that the kids and grandkids are grown, having a cookbook is the only way to go in making smaller portions.

Good recipes if that's all you want...
It's only in paperback so I didnt expect an amazing book material, but this books paper was worse than printer paper, very thin and if you were to spill water on it the paper would completely mess up beyond reading ability. Most paperback books I've had paper quality was very good. This book also has ZERO pictures and is in black and white-ish. It's not a book that is fun to read like most other macaron books. The recipes in this book are great and have actual recipes for the shells unlike most macaron books where there are 4 shell recipes and a ton of filling recipes. Is a very well written book with good recipes but the books physical quality is terrible.

I didn't like the format of this book.
I don't like recipe books that don't take you to the page when you tap on it in the table of contents! This book has a lot of recipes but I'm not going to flip through all the pages to get to them.
