Great low profile option
Low profile I love it. Easy to install

Good quality and easy to install.
This cover is exactly what I needed to replace an old dilapidated cover on two outdoor switches. It’s well made and was easy to install.

Easy install, does the job, inexpensive
I put three of these in over the weekend for outdoor work and security cameras. The install was quick and easy. It provides a good barrier to the elements and is easy to open up with gloves on. There is a small notch cut in the corner of the enclosure so you can loop a small lock through and secure the cover. It does not have space to run a cable through, even if you had a low-profile, right-angle plug. If that's what you need, look at the TayMac enclosures with more depth. The enclosure comes in two parts and you can assemble it based on whether you want it to swing open along the long or short edge. The hinges are open so you have to really push and wiggle the lid onto the base. I was nervous I would break it but I didn't. I used GFCI outlets and you can see the finished product in the pictures. There are adapters in the kit for other outlet types and sizes. I didn't use any of the extra parts.

Good Update For an Old Box
I used this TayMac cover to replace a 30-year-old metal cover with broken hinges and a bad seal that caused the GFCI to trip whenever it rained. Installation was simple, and the cover looks nice. The seal is good, ensuring that water no longer seeps in and trips the GFCI during inclement weather.

Exactly what I wanted
A few days ago I replaced our radon fan which had died. It is connected to a power switch outside and the old cover was very weathered and past its expected life. I was happy to find this TayMac cover to replace it with, which met my needs and at a very good price. I particularly like that it has a low profile and does not bulge out like many others. Installation was quick and easy, anyone can handle it.

Works with smart switches
Great! Works perfect for an outdoor smart switch. It allows the switch to still get signal while being water proof.

Perfect!
This was exactly as described and will serve the purpose that I was hoping for. Even though it's an outdoor electrical box, I wanted it for my outdoor ceiling fan/light remote so that it would be protected and I always will know where it is. The remote fits perfectly in it and now has an all-weather storage compartment. Perfect!
