I adapted these base pads to fit standard 1911 mags, put them in my drill press, drilled new holes, screwed right on looks great, fits great.

Pretty easy to install. Makes a huge difference so you don't pinch your hand with the magwell while reloading. Great price too.

They seem pretty solid
Seems like a solid product it's just three pieces of ABS plastic and six screws I'm an idiot didn't realize that these don't work on magazines that have removable plates so I'll keep them anyway cuz I'm sure one of my buddies will need them but yeah be aware of what you're buying.

Great deal, fits perfectly
I had 3 spare magazines for my Springfield Garrison that didn’t have slam pads. Springfield get $45 a piece for magazines with slam pads, and these from Kimber fit perfectly! Even the screws are an exact match. They literally took me 10 minutes to install all three. Super happy!

Missing screws
Base pads look nice and are of good quality. The holes in the pads line up with the holes in the mag base. The Kimber packet was sealed with no visible holes, so I’m guessing it never had screws in it. The 3 stars are for the quality of the pads. I would have probably given it a 5 if it had screws.
