It is super small, I only use it for cutting embroidery thread. Choose a somewhat bigger scissor for cutting fabric, this one is not made for that. **Q: Are these clit snip compatible?** A: Unless you are using these for sewing-they are entirely WAY to tiny! I had to buy a different pair **Q: How secure is the cap?** A: Very secure. To remove it requires a little squeeze of the two handles. I use them on a lanyard with other notions to have handy when I do needlework. I have never had the cap accidentally come off. **Q: How many for $10.50? I have a pair that I bought in a store years ago. I like them, but they’re certainly not worth more than $2 each.** A: One. Just one pair. They are quite nicely made.
