This Starter Tree is grown from seed and is currently between 3” and 5” in height above soil. It will continue to grow either outdoor, or indoor when temperatures reach freezing temperature. For colder winter months, you can replace direct sunlight with UV Grow Lights with no loss of development. They can vary in size, but are quick growing, so even a smaller plant will be considerably larger in a couple of weeks. Our horticulturists have planted, grown and nurtured our Key Lime trees since seed, and have cared for them for a minimum of 4 months. They are well rooted, healthy, and ready to be adopted into your family, to bring you years of joy. Being hardy, and strong, they are ready to be acclimated to your home, so you can continue to nurture them and watch them grow larger, so that in a couple of years they will be fruit-bearing. I got 2 trees instead of 1 like I ordered which made me much more happy and they are both very healthy and were packaged so securely. It's true about what everyone says about the packaging. It's amazing that they put so much effort into delivering plants in the best condition that they can. Speaking of condition of the plants, I have been ordering live plants for a few years now and have never NEVER EVER received plants in such good shape. If one dies it will be all on me or an act of god. **Q: Do u sell or know where i can get pollen? have a lime tree going on 5 years and it’s never fruited. floweres, but only fruited the year i brought it f**
A: U can get pollen at amazon. My tree did got some flower and did got some lime but then fell out not saying it’s the sealer. It’s maybe me doing something wrong I’m in a cold whether too

**Q: How tall will this tree grow to?  Do you offer a dwarf version?**
A: Ours died.

**Q: Do you have to plant it in the ground or can it stay in a planter, provided the planter is big enough?**
A: These trees can stay in the provided pot for several months, while the roots develop. When it looks like the pot is too small, you can carefully repot them in a slightly larger pot, and so forth. You do not have to plant them outside in the ground. They can stay in increasingly larger pots until they get very large if you wish.

**Q: Can you grow it indoors in a pot?**
A: Yes, absolutely. It is recommended to keep these plants indoors in the original pot, until the roots start to protrude from the base. When they do, you should carefully repot it into a larger container, and continue to keep it indoors until the plant is larger. I use UV grow lights and that is what I would do as well. When it is more mature (6 - 12 months), you can gradually introduce outdoors, but be careful of direct afternoon sunlight, as it could cause shock. I am happy to give guidance when I can see photos of how it is developing, and the specific grow areas at your home. Thank you. Gerald

Started off great but tree didn’t make it. Not sure what I did wrong. I followed the instructions. All the flower plants I purchased from Lowes 1 Fig, grape vines and some lilies from Walmart did great. I also purchased 3 Cherry & 1 Peach on Amazon that did fine except these mandarin, a pineapple plant, banana and some mandarin trees from Amazon. I think buying local is better. I’ve had better success, the prices on Amazon are much higher. I could have gotten a 1 or 2 year tree at tractor supply for the amount I paid for this sapling.
