New found obsession
All four of these have a beautiful scent. None are overwhelming. They all have a lovely linger to them. Can't wait to wear them out and about and see what people sayMoney definitely well spent.

Love the scent but it's unusually weak.
I likes the scents, but it's true what other reviewers said, that they were VERY stingy with the actual fragrance and it's maybe 3x the alcohol you'd get in even regular cheap perfumes. Not even cologne strength. So this is why they fade quickly and you have to use twice as much as normal and refresh in a couple of hours or so. They'll get used up fast.Transfixed reminds me of TokyoMilk Dark. It's good! They just need a decent formula that isn't so scent-poor.

I liked 3 out of 4 of them :)
I liked these scents. The witching hour scent seems to smell similar to Windex for me. I hope it's just me though.Vampire Blooms is very sugary sweet for me. It's like the dragon's blood scent.Transfixed is very nice. Light and woody and warm.Dark roses smells amazing. Just like a bunch of roses. In terms of longevity, I put it on in morning and it seemed to last until the afternoon.Though these are samplers, they're quite big for samplers. If you would compare it a sample tube you get at the mall, it's roughly 10 times that amount.

The scent only lasts until the cologne dries
Updated review 9/30/23 My original review is below. I'm updating from two stars to three, as over a few days I've also come to enjoy the scent of the Transfixed cologne. I've found that if I put quite a bit of this on; thoroughly wet a few inches of arm; the scent lasts about a half hour. Still not good, but it gives a pleasurable lift when first applied. It just has to be applied often._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _When this sampler arrived the lids were loose on two of the bottles. One bottle had lost 3/4 of its content and the other had lost about a third, as you can see in the picture, and the bottles were wet. This isn't returnable, but Amazon resolved to my complete satisfaction.Of the four, I like the Dark Roses best, mainly because I remember the scent roses used to have, and somehow the name "Dark" Roses; in a Gothic sense; fits it well. The others are ok, but none are signature- cologne worthy.I've been applying Dark Roses all day. So far I've reapplied to my wrists at least 20 times as each time it was sniffed awhile after applying there was no detectable scent. I tried to get an idea of how long it lasts by noting the time of a generous application as 6:14, sniffing as soon as I thought of it again at 6:20, and not finding any scent. It seems the scent lasts only until the liquid dries.I've never encountered such a non-lasting cologne and cannot recommend this sampler.

These get better reviews than single note/soliflore scents by Demeter.
So far these are great! I bought both sets. I've tried Vampire Blooms, Ominous Mist, and Haunted Souls so far.Vampire Blooms reminds me of Black Orchid by Tom Ford - it's not the same, but you can tell that deep sensual dark bloom is what they're going for. I'm new to perfume and notes so I don't know what else is in there. However I looked them up on Fragrantica, and some Demeter perfumes don't let you review them so I don't know what other more experienced people think.Ominous mist and Haunted Souls both smell of myrrh which is my favorite. I feel like I smell like fresh, not burnt, incense at the piercing shop. I think I could mix these. One is more sandalwood and the other is more patchouli based

This was terrible. All of them.
The fragrance opens with a strong, powdery note that, while powder itself isn't always offensive (and I often enjoy powdery perfumes), quickly takes over and dominates the entire composition. However, this isn't the soft, comforting powder I typically appreciate. This powdery aspect, combined with what I perceive as a rather musty undertone, evokes the impression of visiting great-grandma in a nursing home. The image of aged floral arrangements and slightly dusty drapery became overwhelming, overshadowing any potential for the promised "dark floral" character. The belladonna, Dracula orchid, and nicotiana notes were completely consumed by this overwhelming "great-grandma's nursing home" accord.
