Good buy!
This worked on my 2015 explorer sport with the 3.5 ecoboost. You have to find just the right spot for both cams to lock in place. I was able to lock the cams in place and break the cam sprockets loose without these coming off or breaking or bending. Exactly what I needed, durable and tough. Also comes with the torx socket to remove the cam sprocket bolt and the tool to depress the tensioner. If you're replacing the cam sprockets (cam phasers) and cam chains, you need this tool. Just remember to line up the sprockets to tdc before taking off the chains. It's right around 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock and then the crank dimple will be at 4 o'clock on the ford 3.5 ecoboost.

WORKS GREAT / NOT FOR GEN 2 ECOBOOST
Great product. Does not fit the Gen 2 3.5L V6 EcoBoost, even though it says it will. This is for the N/A 3.5L V6, not the Twin Turbo version. If you do have a Gen 2 EcoBoost, you are looking for the same product, but part number 303-1655; it's only a couple of bucks more, but same packaging as this one.

Very good alternative
As a Ford senior master tech, i use the rotunda version often. Needed my own set for doing cam phasers at home. These cam holders fit well and are very strong. Ignore the reviews saying they bend. Theyre not intended for use while torquing or loosening the phaser bolts. You can damage your cylinder head because the tool will put marks in the valve cover sealing surface area. Theyre only to be used for locking the cams so the engine can be timed properly. Remove the tool temporarily and hold the cam with a proper fitting wrench while loosening and tightening phaser bolts then reinstall the tool afterwards (make sure timing marks on phasers are at 12 o'clock if you accidentally spun the cam). Also pay attention to which part # you need. One review shows someone trying to use a 303-1655 on an older 3.5L that uses the 303-1248.Only negative i have is the tensioner depression tool for the secondary chain in the 303-1248 kit doesnt fit well. It seems like its too long but i rarely use it anyway. I just press the tensioner down by hand when removing the phasers.
