A Great Idea!
I have an autistic nephew who was terrified of losing his teeth. A loose tooth meant for a difficult road for my sister and her family. I sent him Tug and the Tooth in hopes that it would help ease his fears. Well, it did so much more. This product has really made a huge difference for him. He LOVES Tug, carries him with him all of the time. We've had so much fun reading the storybook together. He loves learning about all of the animals that lose their teeth too! This product not only has eased his fears but has made something so scary for him now FUN!

The backpack is a major fail!
My child was instantly smitten by Tug and the Tooth! So that's good. But I am not so smitten. The workmanship is really disappointing. It looks okay from the front even though there are sloppy embroidery strings. Turn it around and the most important part, the backpack, is a MAJOR fail. It is totally sewn on crooked and only sewed onto his shirt halfway across. The fabric is fraying inside. I was hoping that this would be a tradition and keepsake that would last through all three of my kids-- and for twenty bucks I expected it to be nicer. I will feel lucky if the backpack holds together through the first few teeth. Tug the tooth is sewn together okay. I would absolutely return it except we have a smitten child who is days away from losing his first tooth. They like the book; it is almost epic. The illustrations are enjoyable. It is careful not to give more details about the tooth fairy experience for parents to commit to fulfilling. They don't even meet the tooth fairy, just hike to her palace and meet a few encouraging animal friends along the way. You can spy a tiny tooth fairy in the distance watching them.

Cute story
Super cute story and my kids dig it. Especially my eldest who it was meant for. Not a high quality- tug or the book binding but they loved it.
