The online Qbank is well organized and it gives you the rationales you need. The book makes me fall asleep. Like my friends who pass say, you need to practice and use critical thinking, not grab a book to study. Reading a book is worthless. I bought it because I wanted to try the qbanks. So.....

The book is broken down to the 8 categories of the NCLEX. Very organized. The online qbank that came with the book (register with a code) is very helpful and prepared me to tackle down questions. The format or style of questions are similar to the actual exam. I would highly recommend if you are preparing to take the NCLEX!

This book has been really helpful in preparing for the NCLEX, it contains around 60 chapters and is divided based on age, body system, medications, and random extras. It starts with fertility, prenatal, through birth and childhood. The best thing this book is for is pharmacology, if you feel like its your week area, about 1/3 of the entire book focuses solely on it. I really like the way it gives you hints at what's important and helps group meds. Each chapter ends with around 20 questions, they are comprehensive and well-worded and give good rationales. My only complaint with the rationales I wish they would cite where in the chapter this information is found, I will spend forever searching for that paragraph to reread and sometimes it seems the information wasn't focused on in that chapter. Overall this book is a great concise study tool and if read thoroughly (like 3-4 times) and used to its full advantage you should definitely pass the NCLEX.

The book came in great condition and the rental price is great, but there is an access code on the inside cover that allows access to online resources that are SO HELPFUL and are great study tools!

If you are in nursing school or studying fro your NCLEX this is the best book you can get. The author has great organization and explanation of the topics so you can easily grasp the information without reading unnecessary fluff. I love it so much I'm planning on buying more book by Hogan!

It is such an amazing book. Must buying book if you're preparing for NCLEX-RN exam. It is even better than Saunders. It came in very good condition. No issues at all.

The best book book out there is this👌The Saunders is good but the Pearson is excellent.My wife and I just sat for the nclex.We didn’t sign up for any online review session.We are both internationally trained nurses and completed our nursing school in 2012 in Ghana.We both had the SaundersPearson and Kaplan.I only used this book and never opened my Saunders.My wife read the Saunders but I told her to use this book, she didn’t believe me, I managed to convince her to switch and use this book and she regretted not using it earlier. She also started and read n studied the whole book and with meas we both found it to be more informative and easy to capture questionable Nclex points.We sat for the examsI passed at 75 and my wife passed at 76.

I never understood why and how people love Saunders. I have both books and this one gives you a detailed outline of your nursing program, from Fundamentals to everything. Canadian nursing students will be able to use this as it gives normal values for both U.S AND CANADA.
