I bought these (3) to use in my garage. I have several tubs of dishes that I don't use often, books, and other items that I do not have space for in my house. These shelves can be a challenge to assemble, but if you watch the videos, they are very helpful with assembly. I like the fact that these shelves can be locked until you want or need to move them. It is so much easier to unlock these and move them to a new location than to manually lift all the tubs and move them. Example, I can leave the shelf in front of my AC unit (in my garage) but easily move it if the AC needs service, then put it back after the service/repairs.

This shelf unit is perfect for my needs. I have a storage closet next to my senior apartment with a large shelf in the back, leaving about 14-15" of space to the door. This shelf fits perfect in front of the big unit, has large wheels so that it rolls easily in and out of the closet, and only took a few minutes to assemble. I actually wheeled it down the elevator and the sidewalk full of items for a yard sale.

I bought this Amazon Basics 5-Shelf Storage Shelving Unit back in November 2020 when I decided to finally turn my old, raggedy coat closet into a functional pantry. Let me just say—this shelf was the perfect choice for the job.Assembly was a breeze. I was able to put it together by myself in under an hour, and the instructions were straightforward. The adjustable shelves made it easy to configure for different pantry items—from tall cereal boxes to shorter canned goods.What really impressed me, though, were the smooth-rolling 4'' caster wheels. They make it incredibly easy to roll the unit in and out of the closet when it's time to restock or reorganize. It’s stable, doesn't wobble, and locks in place when needed.Now, almost five years later, this rack remains as sturdy and solid as the day I set it up. No rust, no sagging shelves, and no complaints. It’s held up beautifully through weekly use and frequent reloading of groceries.If you're looking for a durable, versatile shelving unit—whether for a pantry, garage, or laundry room—this one is a total winner. Highly recommend!

Plastic clips and black paint. This was the only negative I have found so far. The paint is too thick in some of the leg grooves so much in fact that the plastic clips slide right past the groove without clicking in place. I had to move the shelve height a couple grooves away for the clips to click in place from where I wanted the shelves to be. A minor setback for me but could be a major setback for othersOn a positve note it seems as sturdy as advertised, the size is just right for my needs, it looks beautiful and I love the fact that wheels can be added to the legs. I've yet to roll it around with any substantial weight so I can't comment on that right now.Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Much sturdier than the ones I got at Sam's which were fine but this one is better. Wheels much larger. Easier to assemble. I am female, 83 and I did it by myself thanks to following hints given by another reviewer. I did it on living room carpet. Laid out all the pieces and checked for any problems. There were none. Screwed wheels onto the 4 lower poles (no black top). Make sure the wheel locks are on the same side. Put clips where I wanted bottom shelf. Make sure clips always say TOP (hard to see but embossed) and clip in right direction. Now comes the hardest part for one person assembly. Slip the first shelf over the poles with clips. Make sure the shelves all have the wavy part on the bottom, like the picture. I used the cardboard packaging to help support the legs while I did this. Set it upright. Choose where you want next shelf, add clips and slip it over poles, much easier this time. Nice that I have a rubber mallet. By this time, the rest was easy peasy. I highly recommend. Wish I needed another one, lol.

So far, so good. Put it together with minimal swearing (the directions are TERRIBLE). Once I studied it and laid everything out, it went together quickly. It seems quite sturdy and stable. It’s in my garage and I don’t have kids, so I didn’t anchor it to the wall. I would strongly suggest anchoring it if you have kids. It holds alot and doesn’t take up a ton of space.

It is perfect for my needs. But if I needed to move it around all the time, I would search for a sturdier product.. it tips at times...My needs were a slender small shelving unit for laundry soap, cleaning items and dryer accessories. That fit a small space by my washer and dryer and this is perfect..

This wire shelving is high quality, hard to find these days! Arrived well wrapped. We loved the black one. Great for organizing, holds a ton of weight. It was easy to put together. So many uses. We bought 2 more. We highly recommend this product!We're confident the product will stand the test of time too but we will return with an update in a couple months!
